| Well, the battles are closed, and I forgot to do this earlier. So… if nobody's got any objections, Vole is heading back with his battle patrol to get patched up. Continued from here. Silverlight, Cherryspark, Clovepetal, Crowwing |Voleblaze wheezed slightly as he stepped into the medicine den, leaving a faint trail of crimson smudges behind him. The battle with IceClan was over, thank CloudClan, and he wasn't even sure which side had won. The black tom had been more concerned with not getting himself killed than focusing on what the other two FireClan warriors were doing. Speaking of which… Vole didn't know whether Cherryspark and Silverlight were following him. He'd just taken off in the direction of camp without a backwards glance. Did that make him a coward? Maybe. But he knew he was injured, and things were gonna head south pretty quickly if neither of the medicine cats happened to be around. "A little help?" the young warrior called out hopefully after sitting down. Voleblaze winced after speaking; getting crushed by that huge IceClanner hadn't done wonders for his ribs.

(it's k) Silverlight came in a few moments after Voleblaze. She was pretty tired after the battle- and her first one at that. She sat down on the floor and waited to see if a medicine cat was there, since Voleblaze had already called out for them.

Clovepetal, with knowledge of the fight, had already begun to prepare an assortment of remedies that were normally required following the events of a battle. She was, unfortunately, familiar with the hardships when dealing with post-war wounds. The russet she-cat was slaving over a complex comfrey poultice when the first of many warriors arrived at her den. 'That was a bit quick', she thought fleetingly. Immediately the she-cat was in action, escorting the young tom to a nest (as he seemed to be in need of her attention more-so than the others). "Just one moment miss," she told to she-cat in a huff. "Now, explain to me your condition," she demanded, her attention back on the black tom.

The long-toothed tom was a little surprised by the efficiency of this medicine cat; she appeared mere moments after he'd spoken. Vole heaved himself back to his paws, body protesting slightly as he did so - the trip back to camp had been rather long, and he was rather weary even though he didn't normally go to sleep this early. He followed Clovepetal to the nest and laid down gingerly.
He didn't usually take kindly to being ordered around, but Voleblaze just sighed internally before responding to the demand. "It's mostly just scratches, but that IceClan fish-face did squash me at one point. My ribs don't feel too great." 'Scratches' might have been a bit of an understatement. The black feline's nose had been sliced, and he had several assorted gashes along his flanks. Many of them were still bleeding. Those really didn't bother Vole, though; it was mostly his potentially-cracked ribs that were painful. He'd never dreamed that cats even came in sizes that large, let alone that he'd have to fight one in his lifetime...

Crowwing was glad that Clovepetal was up and ready for this visit. He had not seen such a number of injured cats at a time, for it was usually just a simple remedy he usually applied to his patients. This time, it was the potential from battle wounds to infections to bleeding.
Voleblaze entered first, followed by the silvery she-cat. He began to hear Voleblaze's explanation and frowned. Another warrior who would have to temporarily be placed off duty, a shame. It was already difficult enough with the limited amount of prey that was available.
Crowwing approached Silverlight and directed her to a nest by the flick of his tail. "Right. Are you hurting anywhere too?" A rather mousebrained question for a medicine cat to ask, but it was the first thing that slipped from his mouth.

"It's basically just scratches," Silverlight mewed as she padded over to the nest. She was mostly tired from the walk back to camp and the battle in general. The she-cat winced a bit from some of the scratches, but she didn't think they were too bad.
