The town was about as dark as a cave. The moon was only a sliver above the town's bright light pollution of the night lights so that the cars go find their way around. The town was quite large and had multiple cats running around and playing.          He's been living quite spoiled. Not used to having others around but would be glad to share his own home with someone special. Timberlake had gone outside for mere minutes before deciding the weather had too much snow to place his paws around.          The balinese tom sat in the front window of his fancy house on the edge of town over looking the woods. He looked around the woods edge and debated his idea to go out and sit on the fence. I mean, he was spoiled, but not so spoiled to not go outside.         The long haired tom sat on the edge of his property line where a fence stood. His black paws were poised on his fence post and he sat with his tail curled around his paws. Perhaps he'd meet someone that he could share his big empty house with. multiply life by the power of two

Charlie leapt into the Twoleg place with a limp, staring around at all the cats and buildings, "Wow!" He whispered to himself. As he was admiring the area, he bashed into a fence, not realising it was there, "Oof. Sorry. "

The balinese tom watched carefully, not noticing the tom walking along the sidewalk by the bottom of the wooden fence. Finally, a thump sounded at the bottom of his fence line. The long haired tom looked down and narrowed his eyes. It was a limping tom, something he probably wouldn't want to get involved with. But, he was bored. He jumped down and looked at the brown tom with careful blue eyes. "Quite the way to introduce yourself. I'm Timberlake. Who might you be?"  multiply life by the power of two

Charlie looked at Timberland as he introduced himself. He was secretly sniffing the cat as he stated his name, "Nice to meet you're aquaintance, the names Charlie. Formally known as Private Peaceful."

Timberlake smiled at the brown tom, a sign of peace instead of anger. He looked over the blue eyed tom once more, catching his scent. It didn't smell like any he'd ever scented before. Welcome Charlie. Would you care to come in where it's warmer? He asked, his paws freezing to the cold cement. multiply life by the power of two

Charlie purred as Timberlake spoke, he seemed nice. "Yeah please." He continued, "Freezing my tail off out 'ere."

[Meh, I got lazy.]

Timberlake smiled at the brown tom and walked a few steps towards a gate. He bunched up his muscles and dug into the wood paneling with his claws. He pulled himself over the fence and over onto the other side. He waited for Charlie but then pushed through the cat door and onto the warming floor.

"Welcome into my humble abode." He purred, looking at the brown tom.

[Charlie]

Charlie smiled back at Timberlake and followed him to the gate, jumping over it with little trouble after he was on the other side. Being a wild feline, Charlie was unsure about the cat door, watching Timberlake as he went through, "Ummm...." With a tilt of his head, he poked the flap and jumped back when it swung. After seeing how it worked, Charlie slipped through it, admiring the beautiful house on the other side, "Wow!" He purred, looking at the Balinese.

Timberlake noticed the hesitation and was about to offer words of courage but Charlie had already walked through the door. The black and white tom purred at his reaction and nodded his head.

"Would you like a grand tour? There are a couple rooms we can only get to by the steps on the wall but it'll be alright." The tom said, nodding at the boards sticking out from the wall leading from room to room.

[Charlie]

"Ok... Two legs have really weird ways of separating areas... Why don't they just mark their territory and have the whole nest to themselves? "
