@glowing
Fallenleaf stood at the entrance of the Medicine Cat's den, peering into the gloomy den with a blackbird in her jaws - one she had caught herself - in an attempt to find a certain sick someone. She was hesitant to actually enter, in fear of the obvious - she didn't want to catch green cough. After a moment, she gave up and went inside, careful to avoid going near the infected. She winced as coughs rang around her, but she wasn't surprised that so many were sick. It was winter, after all.
She finally found the tom, dropping the birds near his nest. "Here I, uh, caught this for you," she gave him a smile, hoping he didn't think it was weird. "I thought you might be hungry - I'm not exactly sure how much they let you out of this place." She gave a small shrug, sitting next to his nest. "How...are you?"

It was hard to get much rest in the medicine den, given the sheer amount of sick cats. Glowingrain was getting worried. He'd been one of the first to get sick, but now it seemed like almost half the Clan was in here. Who would hunt and patrol if even more became infected?
Naturally, he panicked when he saw the lynx point warrior. "Fallenleaf! Thank you, but you'll catch greencough," the half-DeathClanner fretted with a slight wheeze. It would be awful if she got sick because of him. But even though his appetite was dulled by the illness, Glowingrain couldn't deny that the prey smelled nice. Birds were among his favorite things to eat.
"I'm not getting much better yet. You should go; staying here longer will only make it more for you to get sick." Not that he didn't want to spend time with Fallen - in fact, a small part of Glow's mind reminded him that the she-cat would have to stay in the den if she became sick. At the same time… greencough could be quite deadly, and the medicine cats seemed to be running low on supplies as it was. Not worth it.

Fallenleaf smiled. "Your welcome," she replied, flicking her ear at his comment about greencough. "I'm sure I'll be fine," she replied in a low voice. She couldn't let the Medicine Cats see her, or they'd definitely make her leave. She had nothing else to do, no other friends, no family, except Glowingrain. He was all she had for company, and she actually enjoyed it. Maybe a little bit more than she should have. She settled down with a sigh beside the nest, resting her paws in such away that she could see him.
The lynx point frowned. "But don't they have you on any medicine? Shouldn't you be getting better?" She asked, slightly frightened. "Oh well. I have nothing to do anyways, and I wanted to see you. Maybe being sick in here wouldn't be so bad - I would be with you," after a moment, her smile turned sheepish. Whoops. Didn't mean to say that aloud.

Glowingrain wasn't so sure that it'd be fine, but he didn't feel like arguing the point. The patched cat just sighed with a small sneeze. "Alright. But not for too long, okay? Littlefox and Mintfrost would throw a fit if they saw you in here."
It was actually nice that Fallenleaf had come to visit him, albeit rather reckless. "There's medicine, just not much of it - and I think it has to get worse before it'll get any better." Glow didn't exactly like having to use the medicine cats' valuable herb supplies. At the same point, he was well aware of how fatal greencough could be. Dying was not high on his list of priorities.
He raised a catlike eyebrow and grinned at the female's last statement. "Aw, how cute! Do you really want to be around me that much?" Glowingrain purred hoarsely.

so sorry this is really late D:
Fallenleaf nodded. "Alright," she meowed, a small smile planted on her face. His next words worried her, and if she had had eyebrows, a furrow would have appeared between them. She frowned. "Worse?" She murmured. She wasn't exactly sure what he had already, wether it was white cough or greencough, but either way, worse couldn't be good. She'd heard of blackcough once, the escalated version of greencough, but it sounded terrible. She shuddered.
"That's terrible," she looked up at him from her paws with wide amber eyes. "Aren't they here to heal you, not to make it worse?" She grunted in annoyance. Maybe she would have to talk to the Medicine Cats, but the thought frightened her. What if they decided they didn't like her, and wouldn't heal her if she was sick?
His is next words flustered her, and she flattened her ears in embarrassment. "Well, I uh…" she laughed nervously, giving a small shrug. She stared at her paws as if there was suddenly something interesting to look at. "I mean, yeah," she said quietly, wanting to curl up and sink into the ground. After a moment, intent on changing the subject, she asked, "What do most of them have?" She looked up at him again, referring to the other sick cats.

| It's fine. Also, this post may end up being a bit short… |
He'd never heard of blackcough, personally, but horror stories about extreme sickness wouldn't be the best when he was currently a patient. Glow didn't actually feel that bad right now. His whitecough was more of a constant barrage of small symptoms… like coughing, a slight fever, a dry nose. Stuff like that. It was irritating but tolerable.
"They're trying," he explained. "But they aren't miracle workers. The medicine needs time to work, I think. Hopefully it'll be better in a couple of days." The half-DeathClanner didn't know that he'd be contracting greencough in a while - and even if he'd been able to foresee that, he certainly wouldn't have been looking forward to it.
Glowingrain chuckled softly at Fallen's embarrassment. "That's really nice, actually," commented the tom with a smile. She seemed to actually care about him; it was sweet. However, he allowed the subject change with only an amused twitch of his whiskers.
"I think it's mostly whitecough around here. I haven't heard of any greencough cases yet."

Fallenleaf nodded after a moment. She hoped he'd be better soon, for she'd been quite lonely in the Warrior's Den by herself. "That's really nice, actually," At his words, her chest tightened and her heart seemed to flutter. She glanced back down at her paws for a brief moment, not knowing what to say. The female wasn't the best in these situations.
"Your welcome..?" She looked up at him hopefully. That was stupid, wasn't it. Ugh. "Well, I mean..." Fallenleaf laughed nervously, grateful when the topic changed. "Oh, that's good," she nodded. "We're pretty low on warriors right now, so I hope they start getting better soon," she murmured. "Not to mention it's still leaf-bare and we need as much prey as we can get."
Not wanting to wanting to worry him, she fell into silence. That probably wasn't a good idea, telling him that we're low on prey while he can't do anything, she thought in annoyance towards herself. I always mess things up.

Glowingrain was about to respond when he broke into a wheezing, rasping fit of coughing. It was persistent - whenever he tried to come up for air, it only seemed to get worse. The warrior panted and gasped in an attempt to catch his breath once the itch in his throat had finally left.
"Blech… I wish it wouldn't do that to me," he complained hoarsely. Whitecough: not as fun as it might seem.

Fallenleaf's eyes grew wide in worry as he started coughing - he couldn't seem to stop. "A-are you alright?" She asked, moving closer towards him as if she were to inspect him. "Should I get a medicine cat? Will they be able to help you?" She was clearly worried about the tom, and was unaware of the fact that she was most likely more annoying then helpful.
"Does it do that to everyone?" The lynx point asked with a twitch of her whiskers. She watched him anxiously, as if he were about to start coughing again. "Would you like some water?"

"I'm okay; it's normal," the tom reassured, though he looked weary. Fighting the illness was taking quite a lot of his energy. Glowingrain shook his head in response to the question about medicine cats, knowing that they probably wouldn't be worried about a coughing fit. They'd done all they could for the time being.
He sank a bit lower in his nest - it'd be nice to get some sleep eventually. "Water sounds nice. That, and maybe a bit of a nap."
