The young feline awoke herself with a yawn and stretched, her eyes fluttering open to see the butt bright crack of dawn that snook in around a rock she was sleeping behind. "Another day." The young peasant yawned herself awake, flicking her ginger ear as she arose from her stretching position, starting to walk away.

Vex had already been awake for a while. The grey tabby was traveling through the trees, leaping carefully and quietly between the branches. She froze upon noticing a bright orange pelt on the ground below. Had this cat seen her?
However, the peasant immediately relaxed upon noticing Riley. They weren't officially friends, but… Vex had helped the other she-cat once. Maybe Riley would remember her.
She hopped down to the forest floor and stepped towards the ginger feline a little hesitantly. "Hi," offered Vex in greeting. "I haven't seen you for a while."

Riley jumped, shocked by Vex's sudden appearance. However, she had always been jumpy, "Hi! Vex? Isn't it?" The ginger she-cat smiled.
Sorry for shortness.

(Oops, I'm late getting back to this.)
"That's me," Vex purred. "And unless my memory's gone bad, you're Riley. Been laying low over the past few moons or something?" The grey tabby sat down a few tail-lengths away. Riley was one of the few cats in DeathClan that she felt at ease around. Unfortunately, she seemed to have made more enemies than allies during her time here.
