[Honeydrop]

Honeydrop let out a little 'aahhh' sound as she padded into the Warriors' Den. She had just returned from her Sun-high patrol, and had been given permission to rest before she had to go out again for the Moon-high patrol. She smiled as she sat in her nest. She wasn't tired, and didn't want to nap, but boy was she bored.

Suddenly the sound of pawsteps made her ears swivel and she turned to see none other than Sageleaf entering the den. "Oh, hey, Sageleaf right? Mind if we chat?" She never had been a shy cat.

[Sageleaf]

Only a little surprised that the cat knew her name, after all, it was hard not to know your Clanmates, Sageleaf smiled and padded over to the younger warrior. "Yep, that's me. And you're Honeydrop, correct?" She asked.

[Honeydrop]

Honeydrop smiled and nodded. "Yep." She purred sweetly, curling her tail across her paws. "So, are you as thankful as I am that the Clan seems to be gaining some strength back? That Green-cough outburst was insane!" She said, tilting her head to the side.

[Sageleaf]

"Yes, it was indeed!" said Sage with a smile. "I don't think there were any deaths of it...we were pretty lucky, if I do say so myself."

[Honeydrop]

Honeydrop nodded with agreement. "Yea, and thankfully not too many kits got ill, or at least I don't think so. Maybe this Clan's luck is finally starting to return." She purred.

[Sageleaf]

"Yeah. The recent Greencough epidemic seems to be hitting just the warriors mostly, strangely…" pondered Sageleaf.

[Honeydrop]

"Yea, I guess the Queens managed to keep the kits away from the sick cats for once." She purred, smiling as she thought of all of the curious little kits trying to find the sick cats on some sort of adventure.

[Sageleaf]

"Yep." replied Sage, not sure what else to say. She was secretly hoping that Honeydrop would say something and they could get into a good heated conversation.

Honeydrop shrugged, but then grinned. "So, Sageleaf, any nice toms in your life?" She asked, tilting her head.

[Sageleaf]

Sage couldn't help a small laugh at Honeydrop's question. The truth was, she had once had a mate, Fangheart, but then he had left her....dissapearing (aka deleting his account). She hadn't taken another mate ever since, and it had been years. "Not really...." said Sage, thinking of all the different toms in the Clan. Not many, to be honest. "It's not like there are very many toms around here, not nearly my age anyways. What about you?" asked Sageleaf. The few toms that were warriors were closer to Honeydrop's age, and Sageleaf was curious weather or not she was mooning over any of them or not.

[Honeydrop]

Honeydrop nodded at Sageleaf's comment about a lack of toms. She wasn't really wrong. Most of the cats she had met were she-cats, and the only toms she could think of that weren't either elders or the leader were closer to her own age. She gave a little shrug at Sageleaf's question, though.

"Nobody specific is catching my eye. There are some attractive cats here in Treeclan, but I've yet to meet a cat who's both good to look at AND nice to talk to. Or, well, nobody that I would be mates with." She said, thinking about some of the toms she knew, like Blazestripe or Whitehawk.

[Sageleaf]

"Well, you'll find someone eventually." said Sage with a smile. "But when you do, make them promise to never leave you, okay?" meowed Sage with a sad sigh.

[Honeydrop]

Honeydrop scoffed and shook her head. "I've already had promises like that be broken, intentionally or unintentionally, I'd prefer to just let destiny take over my relationships." She mewed sadly.

[Sageleaf]

Sageleaf looked down, realizing that she had probably said the wrong thing to this young she-cat. "I'm sorry..." she said with a soft mew. "I didn't mean to make you upset...." she continued, her voice trailing off.
