Blazekit was new in the nursery and didn't know any of the kits. He hide in a bush to see if any kit would pad out so he could surprise them, "This is going to be fun," the ginger tabby meowed quietly to himself. Suddenly
he spotted a kit coming out of the nursery. He crouched down, ready to pounce.

Mousefeather pushed her way out of the entrance, a ball of old moss in her mouth. The half blind, scarred she-cat paused for a second. Her nose twitching, there was a faint whiff of a kit close by. But then again she was standing half way out of the nursery. She remained still, ears turning in different directions.

Blazekit then pounced at the warrior, landing on her back. "Got you!" He yowled in triumph. "Just to make sure, you ok?"

Mousefeather fluffed her fur out in suprise as the kit pounced. She collapsed under him, dropping the moss and giving a "oomph!" Quickly realizing it was a kit she rolled onto her side with a surprised playful look, "You think you're so tough?! I can take yoh with one paw!" She batted at him gently with a paw. Although she didn't answer his question she was indeed totally fine.

The ginger tom knew she was OK when she batted him with her paw. "You think I'll surrender so easy, think again," her mewed as he nipped lightly on her paw. "Hope I didn't overdo it," he thought.

She flinched from the little nip but quickly hide it behind a mocking wail of fear, "Oh no! He's to strong! Someone help!" She tried to control the purr that was threating to escape her. She continued batting at him, gently.

Blazekit purred as he pounced off mousefeather and cleans his fur, which was covered in leaves from the bush, "I hope your my mentor when I'm an apprentice," he mewed as he stood up.

She rolled not her stomach, smiling and purring, "Well thats a long ways off little one." She licked at a paw and drew it over her scarred face several times, "So do I get to learn the name of my attacker?" She purred, tilting her head and her ears going off at different angles.

Blazekit purred as he realized he still had many moons to go to be an apprentice, "Names blazekit," mewed the ginger tabby. "When I'm leader, I'm gonna be the greatest leader ever!" He mewed with exitment

"Well Blazekit thats a mighty dream here!" She purred, sitting up, "Im Mousefeather." Her loom of a tail waved back and forth, slowly.
