Sageleaf padded around the clearing, searching for any sign of life. "Hello! I guess I"m dead. she muttered.

'cause tonight's the night the world begins again Greenflare walked from his spot in the foliage in the area of CloudClan that would have been TreeClan if he had still been alive. He wasn't sure that he would actually have enjoyed his life as much because of the pain of having lost his child and love. But, now that he was here, he found Tuftfeather and Littlepool again. They were one big, happy family.
Enough of backstory. He was watching the DeathClan raid from his spot, and since Holly picked a fight with Sageleaf, he knew that a new soul would join them tonight. The black tom waited patiently for the deed to be done before she appeared in the clearing.
He remembered waking up in the same spot, seeing Littlepool greet him with happiness yet sadness. The black cat walked from his spot to the she-cat, moving the fern's fronds with his tail as he walked. He had met Sageleaf before, if he remembered, so perhaps she remembered him from his living days.
"You guessed correctly. Don't worry, the shock leaves after a few days." Greenflare sat down across from her, flicking his ear. He stretched, sighing when he relaxed. "You probably shouldn't have died. It gets extremely boring and uneventful here."

Oh boy, boy, Sageleaf recognized the cat that was watching her. She hadn't seen him in a long time, and had missed his death. It was Greenflare--one of her friends from when she was a young warrior.
She couldn't help but laugh at his comment. "Yep, I'll bet it does get pretty boring. Just sitting around….not being able to do anything about the battles below us. Well….at least my life was lost protecting my Clan. That's something, right?" asked Sageleaf, pondering what might happen now that she was dead. Would anyone mourn for her? Would they hold vigil over her body all night? She could only hope. | NOTES TAGS WHATEVS |

'cause tonight's the night the world begins again Greenflare shrugged at her reply. The black tom looked around the clearing, his green gaze thoughtful. "You can hunt as much as you want. There's always prey here. It may not seem fair that we get to have plenty of prey during any season, but I suppose it is almost like an award to the fallen. Unless you go to Darkpool. You starve forever there."
The tom snorted at her mention of her death. "If you keep speaking about your death, the harder it will be for it to leave your mind." Greenflare looked back at her, his ear flicking. The tom looked toward the ground, looking back at his old home. He thought of Applefall and Finchkit, his sisters. He knew when the queen had heard of his death, she had gone days without eating.
I can only hope it gets better for her. But, she seemed fine now. He wasn't sure if Finchkit yet knew about his death, his disappearance. He shrugged at the thought.
"Many of the cats here didn't die protecting their clans. For example, my mate and the former head queen of TreeClan, Littlepool, died from a rogue attacking her. Her death killed the kits, our kits, she was carrying too. My daughter, Tuftfeather, died in the Hunger Games. I died from Skywing's hatred for me. He is doomed to go to Darkpool now. He gave up his hopes and dreams of a good afterlife when he killed me."

Oh boy, boy, Sageleaf smiled at the idea of being able to hunt whenever she wanted. She really liked the idea, and was getting a little hungry. And though it didn't seem fair, she had to agree with Greenflare that it was like a reward.
She shuddered when he mentioned Darkpool. Starving forever, always hungry. Let's just say Sageleaf was pretty glad she'd been a good little cat during her lifetime.
She nodded at Greenflare's comment that thinking about her death would make her keep remembering it. It just made sense, though it was so much cooler being free to do whatever she wanted. If only Fangheart were still around….oh, how she missed her former mate.
With a frown, she listened to Greenflare's story, unsure of how to respond to his tragic story. "Thats….tragic." she mewed, unsure of any other word to use.

I hopped over a starry tree branch, a smile bubbling up in my chest. It felt good to be running around and out of the depression that I'd caught myself into. The yearning for Fei'lan had subsided and fallen into the back of my heart where I could only dream of how things could have turned out if I hadn't been weak and died.
He was happy now. He had a family that cared for him and that's all I cared about, although it was funny how things worked out to be that a cousin of mine had been his second option. The thoughts faded back as I stumbled upon something interesting. A new cat. I sucked in a little breath and let it out in a sigh. A prayer for the she-cat's family.
I quietly padded up, friendly look upon my face. I was younger than the two cats that stood there. I cast my glance to Sageleaf. She was pretty despite the cut that wear healing from a battle. Probably her death bed. I gave a faint meow of greeting. "Hi." I gave a cheeky grin to Greenflare and quirked my fictional brow. "Don't tell me you're making her sad just as she gets here. Don't be such a downer."

'cause tonight's the night the world begins again Greenflare glanced at Wingedpaw, scoffing at her. "I'm not being a downer. Frankly, thinking of my mortal enemy going to burn in Darkpool without connection to my mate is quite a lovely thought if I say so myself." the tom retorted, lashing his tail. After the apprentice had joined CloudClan, the two had gotten to know each other quite a bit. He always had something to argue back with her.
"Besides, she was continuously thinking about her death. It was obvious. If she doesn't let it go quickly, she'll just stay attached to the real world, something she isn't apart of. It's better to be blunt than lie to her. She also knows me."
Greenflare flicked his ear, lifting one of his paws to clean it. The black cat put it down. "Anyway, sometimes a cat is happy they died. I wouldn't say I was excited I died in the paws of stupid Skywing, but I'm happy to be here with my first child and my mate."

Oh boy, boy, Sageleaf couldn't help a smile as a new cat padded in. She didn't recognize her, but she looked to be a middle-aged apprentice. She seemed nice and funny, and Sageleaf wouldn't mind getting to know her better. Not that she might have a choice, considering the lack of cats here.
Sageleaf let out an irritable groan as Greenflare responded. "I'm right here, you know, no need to talk like I'm not. Besides, you're the one that keeps bringing up my death. And you're death, for that matter." she said, pondering what was going on in TreeClan right now. She hoped Willowlight was doing alright, her former apprentice and Sageleaf had been very close. He must have been devastated when he heard the news. I'll have to go visit his dreams sometime, if he's taking this to badly. she thought with a smile.
Turning back to Greenflare, she spoke. "Though, I do appreciate your honesty, I would like to know, what is so wrong with thinking about your death? It's part of history. But now here I am being blunt." she said with a laugh.
Then, turning back to the apprentice, she said, "So, what's your name? Mine's Sageleaf." | NOTES TAGS WHATEVS |

hands of time DAY AFTER DAY, LIKE A LIFETIME AWAY, I KEEP HOLDIN' ON " my brother killed you because you stole his girl, he had good reasoning, quit making it sound so bad, we all know it was a accident. he is not the murderous type of cat." a she-cat mewled as she walked over to him and sighed. " we make the choice if they come to cloudclan or are doomed to darkpool, his murder wasn't the worse i am sure he will be allowed here." she said and turned to sageleaf. " sageleaf of treeclan, correct? you knew my little cousin pineshadow and i'm sure you met my brother skywing however not me. i am ashfang, i to was killed by deathclanners, three of them. however my main murder was wolf, ill never forgive him for that.." she sighed and shuddered. " one wanted my teeth.. i am not to sure why but it was awful!" she said and looked down sighing. " i miss my mate moonpool.. but you get use to it up here, we have a few apprentices-- well such as wingedpaw that wander and are always looking for a nice talk." she said and nodded. " i am sorry you died so soon, it wasn't suppose to end the way it did."

'cause tonight's the night the world begins again Greenflare rolled his eyes, almost exasperated. "I'm giving examples. I'm not trying to dwell on the fact of death." he mumbled at Sageleaf, lashing his tail. "And, I'm trying to explain things. I think it's bad to dwell on death because you only think about your past life. You think about the cats you can't see again, and it'll make your time here harder." He was speaking from experience with missing his sisters, Applefall and Finchpaw. He even missed Speckledleaf, his old mate.
Greenflare certainly hadn't lost his temper, though. Ashfang came in, claiming her brother was innocent and that he, Greenflare, stole his girl.
"Excuse me, but I never stole Littlepool from him. We had Tuftfeather, and that was an accident. He was the one who went all fox-dung crazy about it. Besides, I think it's clear that she never had any romantic desires for him. It may have seemed like it, but she's my mate now. She practically hates him."
The black tom snorted at her, looking back at Sageleaf and Wingedpaw.
"CloudClan doesn't welcome murders. If he comes here, he'll probably wish he hadn't. He's lost everything he's cared for by murder."

Oh boy, boy, With a startled look at Ashfang, whom she had seen once or twice before, she asked "What do you mean it wasn't supposed to end this way?" she asked, confused. Sure, she knew CloudClan cats were sort of all-knowing, but was there a certain way things were supposed to turn out? Or had Ashfang just said that for shock value?
Then she turned to Greenflare and nodded. "I understand. I'll try not to think about it too much." she said with a smile.
She glanced around at all three of the cats, trying to figure out the relationships between them. Green flare and Wingedpaw seemed to argue about a lot, though they didn't necessarily act like enemies. But then, were any CloudClan cats actually enemies?
Greenflare didn't seem to like Ashfang, which could also be because he was formerly from IceClan. It was strange she knew so much about the other Clans, but Sageleaf had had her fair share of adventures when she was alive. | Sorry for the late reply, I was waiting for Wingedpaw to respond but then she never did so...Yeah. Also, there is so much backstory going on here xD
