[Marionette]

Best title ever.

Marionette lay in the corner of the quarry, speaking softly and quietly to herself as if someone was there.  Her pale, puppet like face had a blank expression. It was as if she had no idea of what was happening in her surroundings. 
Her day dreams had taken her captive in a magical land. Her fantasy that she longed to delve in. 
Marionette, or most commonly given the nickname of Puppet, wiped her rough pink tongue alone her black, long clawed paw before rubbing it on her small black ear and ginger cheek. 
Suddenly, the oddly coloured, tall feline shot into reality when she heard a sound. "Who's there?"

    "Song," Replied, automatically, a gray she-cat with a brownish tinge to her back. Song grinned kindly, approached more quickly, an achy touch of cold blasting her as the walls around her granted a bit of shade and chill from the stuffy heat of the Badlands. The green-hazel-eyed Medic and Ranger crouched a half fox-length away from Marionette, paws tucked under her chest. "You are?"

Marionette smiled are the sound of a voice. She'd been feeling awful lonely but she wasn't the best in times that called for being alone. The oddly coloured feline dipped her head respectfully to this cat who had just introduced herself to be : Song. 
The blind feline then noticed that Song had asked her a question: You are?
"I'm Marionette..."


So short.

    Song grinned, dipped her small-but-intelligent head slowly. "Pleasure to meet you, Marionette, as far as I have gathered," She responded. Her tail twitched daintily, and her gaze flickered across the quarry. "So, you hiding, hot, or just simply bored?" She asked after a few moments, mostly kidding.
