Whirlwind stumbled into the den onto his face with an oomf. He lifts his head and sniffs the air. Is anyone here? His cut stings and he wants to get it checked out so he calls for the medicine cats, "Clovepetal? Crowwing? Either of you in here?" Whirlwind looked down at his right foreleg that had a cut from his paw to about two inches above the paw from where he was cut on the sharp rock.
(Cut from paw to lower right foreleg; bleeding- not bad)

"Clovepetal's not in right now, but I'm here." The younger medicine cat yawned, climbing out of bed. With himself still half asleep, the tom gave Whirlwind a quick look not knowing who this was, but no time for that. He noticed that the warrior kept staring at his paw. "Tell me what's wrong. Does it hurt when you walk?"

Whirlwind looked up at Crowwing with a nod. "It does hurt to walk. My paw- I have a cut on it. I’m Whirlwind by the way." He added to the medicine cat before wobbling over to him, holding out his paw to show Crowwing. The russet tom felt so foolish to have gotten this in such an odd way. I’ll make sure there’s nothing in the snow next time!

A cut. "Wait here." he commanded, dragging a fresh new bed for Whirlwind. He did not want the warrior to put too much pressure by walking too much and thumped his tail as if to tell the russet tom to lay down.
The medicine cat slipped to the back of the den for a second, coming out with a couple supplies - cobwebs to soak blood and wrap around the wound and marigold to be used as a poultice to stop infections.

Whirlwind limped over to the nest Crowwing had for him and he laid down. He watched the medicine cat fiddle with weird things and some web stuff. Don't spiders make that? Please do not have any spiders in it... The russet tom looked at the herbs and tilted his head. They looked different from a normal leaf you'd see on a tree from TreeClan that's near the border.
He looked at Crowwing and sighed. "Thanks for helping me, Crowwing. Sorry to trouble you like this." Whirlwind hated bothering people with his problems yet he needed help with this.

Crowwing watched as the warrior settled into the nest and caught his bewilderment, remembering how he too had the same look when accompanying Skyflight and Heatherpelt. Oh, how he missed them. At least he had Clovepetal to continue mentoring him now.
"No trouble at all!" he exclaimed. "I used to come to the medicine cats to get a remedy or too also when I was a warrior!"
The tom began to press the cobweb on the paw first, knowing that was one of the most delicate areas and chewed the marigold, not so fond of the taste, but it was better than nothing.

Whirlwind smiled and sat himself at ease. That must be a big difference. To once have been a warrior and then a medicine cat nowadays... I think I remember when he switched from one to another. I must have been a kit or apprentice at that point. He turned his attention to his paw as Crowwing added cobweb to it. "Well I'm glad I'm not bothering you. And I think I remember you as a warrior. It's good you're serving your clan still though. We needed another medicine cat with all the battles and fights that have happened." He looked at the marigold and tilted his head. "What's that for? What you're chewing?" Whirlwind asked.

whoops, finals got in the way. ;//;
He caught the look that Whirlwind was giving in regards to the cobwebs and chuckled a bit at the warrior's concern to his medical procedures. "The cobwebs are to stop your blood from coming out anymore than what's necessary." he started, continuing with the chewing. "And this poultice is to stop your wounds from infections."
The cobweb was applied on as a really delicate cast for the meantime. The juice had to be at the right texture before being applied. "Yes, I do hope that these raids are less frequent. With all of the skirmishes lately, I fear for the clan's well-being. Fireclan isn't really used to this much attention!"
