“I guess so— CloudClan know’s what those poor soul’s would do if I wasn’t around,” Lightpaw said sarcastically, chuckling a bit before he leaped down. His pink-padded paws stung a bit as he landed, and he clenched his jaw to keep from flinching. As soon as he recovered from the fall he padded over to Dawnpaw (seeing as he had glided a few tail-lengths away during the fall), looking back towards the direction of camp with slight distaste glinting in his green eyes. It was much more fun out here.

Dawnpaw smiled as lightpaw padded over to her. "Yeah, willowpaws problebly begging to know where I am," she laughed quietly. It felt nice to have a friend around, it felt like something more than friends. I wonder if lightpaw feels the same way she thought but quickly shook the thought away. "Want to play a game or something?" She mewed happily.

“Sure, which one do you have in mind?” he asked. He hadn’t played many games before— in fact, now that he dwelled on the fact, he had never hung out with another cat alone before; there had always been two or three other cats in the group when he was conversing, or playing games. It felt nice to have Dawnpaw’s -relatively- undivided attention, without her being annoyed or getting sick of him.

"How about hide and seek if you're up to it," dawnpaw said with a slight smile. She almost felt like a kit again, playing games with another cat. If yes, prepare to be beaten she thought, her showing off personality trying to get the best of her.

“Sounds cool,” Lightpaw said with a nod. He hand’t played the game before, but it seemed pretty straight forwards. One cat hides, and other look for ‘em, right? he thought. “Do you want to hide, or should I?” the tom asked, not really caring which position he got. Both would be amusing.

"I guess I shall be seeker," dawnpaw mewed. She turned to face the giant tree and started counting. "One cloud, two clouds, three clouds....." She kept on counting, giving lightpaw a chance to hide.

Lightpaw looked around, padding as silently away from the she-cat. He knew his pelt wasn’t the best for camouflage; its coloring being bright enough that he’d have to find a hiding space where he’d be completely covered. Smirking in satisfaction, the tabby spotted a small dip in a nearby large bush, finding the hollow was big enough (or maybe he was just small enough) to crawl into. Quick as he could, he scrambled inside, finding that here was more than enough room for his small frame to turn around so he could face the entrance. Carefully, he unsheathed his claws and dragged the branch that hovered above the entrance down so it semi-concleaed his hiding spot, and he hoped he wasn’t visible as he waited for Dawnpaw to start searching for him.

"Ready or not, here I come!" Dawnpaw yelled as she padded to look for lightpaw. She sniffed the air. Smells faint.. She padded the other direction and climbed a tree, "Not up here," she climbed down and started padding again. Suddenly she smelled lightpaws fresh scent, she followed to a little tiny forested area. "Aww man.." She mewed, its gonna take forever to find him.

Lightpaw tensed as he heard the familiar pad of pawstep’s getting someone what closer to his hiding spot. Curiosity getting the best of him, he inched himself slightly forward, pressing his nose against the entrance of his hiding space. He blinked, thinking he could make out the familiar shade of Dawnpaw’s pelt through the leaves. The tom thrashed his tail in slight frustration at not being able to see what was going on, only to cringe when his tail knocked against some of the leaves, making a rather apparent noise as he cursed under his breath.

"Huh?!" Dawnpaw turned her head and saw the bright gold pelt of lightpaws. She then smiled and mewed sarcastically, "Maybe it was a mouse or something, better keep looking." She looked in a bush and in trees, "He's a good seeker, I can't find him anywhere!"

Lightpaw smirked as he heard Dawnpaw speak, not comprehending the sarcasm. I knew I would be great at this, the pale golden tom thought, raising his head a bit in pride at his “amazing hiding skills". He chuckled a bit, scooting back slightly as he (im)patiently waited for Dawnpaw to find him.

Dawnpaw glanced at lightpaws hiding place, "Just have to wait him out," she whispered to herself. She saw the leaves russle some more and smiled.

Lightpaw blinked, shifting a bit. He wasn’t the most patient person in the world. I wonder if I can just…, he carefully pushed the branch-barrier that concealed him to the side. Edging his way forward, he planned on making a break for the nearest tree if he got out into the open unseen.
