Freezepaw padded into the Apprentices' Den after the ceremony. 'Finally, an apprentice!' she thought, looking around to see if any other of the other apprentices were around that wanted to talk. "Hello?" she called.

Naturepaw turned around when she heard an unfamiliar voice. Wow! A new apprentice! she thought. Grinning, Nature padded up to the new apprentice, a little bounce in her step. "Hi! I'm Naturepaw. What's your name?" she asked. "Have you already made a nest yet? There's plenty of room." Nature stopped herself from asking any more questions. She had a bad habit of rambling and she wanted to make a good impression on this new apprentice and make sure she felt welcome and not too overwhelmed.

Freezepaw looked to see another apprentice, Naturepaw. "Oh, I'm Freezepaw." she mewed. "I haven't made a nest yet," she replied to the question.

Naturepaw smiled. "If you want, I can help you make it! By the way, who's your mentor? My mentor is Thornfrost, but we don't train very much. Hopefully, I can finish my training, though!" she replied. "Oh, and you can pretty much pick any place to make your nest. You can make yours near mine, if you'd like." Nature turned and started to go near bushes and rocks to gather some moss so Freezepaw could make her nest. The supply pile was running low, so Naturepaw would probably fill it back up once she finished helping Freezepaw. Unless, of course, she wanted a little company while she made herself at home. |

"Thanks, I think I'll need help making it," Freezepaw mewed. "My mentor's Rivershade, we haven't started training, though." She padded to a spot close to Naturepaw's nest. "Maybe I'll make it here..?" she said! looking at Naturepaw while wondering if it was a good spot.

Naturepaw turned and smiled. "Of course you can make it here!" she replied, grinning. I need some company nearby anyway, she thought. There were no other nests that close to Naturepaw's. She had made hers on the edge of the forest so she could be closer to the sounds, the smells, the feelings of nature. It coursed through her veins and made her feel more safe, more secure. Even though she hadn't minded the loneliness before, she now wanted to have a friend nearby to talk to or confide in.
