The new apprentice padded quietly into the nursery. She hoped to make a friend, so she politely started to make her nest out of the moss she had brought with her. Once she was finished, she sat down and wrapped her tail around her paws. She looked around the den, trying to decide who to talk to. What if they don't like me?She thought. I hope I'm not annoying or anything. Am I annoying? Maybe. Am I weird? Most likely. Stop arguing with yourself! She thought, and shook away the argument in her mind.

"Cool, I was learning to hunt and fight." She answered. "Hey, do you want to train together sometime? I am sure Shiverwind would be fine with it, and it would be fun! Speaking of which, who is your mentor?"

"Hmm." Willowpaw mewed. "What about if we just go hunting, by ourselves? We could bring back prey to prove that we can hunt." She reasoned, hoping Spiderpaw would agree.

"I could ask my mentor" She replied. "We can wait until tomorrow too. I just ment we could do it sometime. In the meantime, you want to get something to eat?" She asked, changing the subject.

"Okay, lets go!" Willowpaw raced towards the fresh kill pile. She picked up a small field mouse and padded over to an open corner in the sun. She then waited for her friend Spiderpaw to come over.
