Sadly, the Den is Leaking(o)

Dustpaw grinned, happy to get her to not even notice the thunder and lightning outside. The tabby tom turned to gaze around at the other snoring apprentices, before snickering. "We're so loud, I'm surprised no one is waking up." he purred.

The dream flashed in his mind briefly, and the tom shivered. After a moment, he sighed. "I hope the storm doesn't get too bad...." he whispered, partly to himself. But then he realized Rainpaw could have heard, and instantly his eyes widened. "Err, well, it's not that bad."

[Rainbreeze]

She giggled. "M-Most likely because t-they didn't wake from the storm. W-We aren't louder t-than the thunder... a-are we?" She asked. She was talking louder than she usually. But the thunder it pretty loud. She shrugged it off, they most likely weren't.

She noticed the tom shiver. Was he cold? But then he whispered something to himself, Was he thinking about the dream? She felt a little bad for her friend, he had had bad dreams before but she usually took the time to think them though then they leave her alone. She listened as the tom tried to cover up whatever the whispered about. She was confused but she played along, He was probably talking about his dream or the storm. She did hear something about a storm is his hushed voice.

"Y-Ya, I don't think i-it's going to get a-any worse. M-Maybe rain a l-little more but t-that's it." She mew, thinking she got the sentience right. It would be awkward if he was talking about flowers or something and she suddenly brought up rain...

[Duststorm]

Dustpaw nodded, silently impressed by her excellent hearing. Or guess. That too. "Oh, I just realized something!" the tabby tom gasped, snapping his head to the den entrance. "The prey will be all soggy! Everyone will go hungry!"

Pausing, the tom tilted his head. Would they be allowed outside to hunt? Maybe in secret? He kinda felt bad the queens and kits would be starving in the morning, and annoyed warriors who probably didn't get a good sleep would trudge out into the rain to search for more soggy prey. What use was that? Here he was, wide awake and very much not annoyed, capable of at least catching something for his Clan. Or himself.

"Maybe we should go hunting." he suggested softly. His ear twitched when another shriek of thunder exploded in the sky. It didn't really register as bad, though, in his mind. "Or... um... you can stay here. Just don't tell anybody where I'm at." He stood up to leave.

[Rainbreeze]

"N-No, I will come with you. I-It's just some silly t-thunder." She protested, Giving a nervous laugh.She gave another flinch at the thunder but it was less noticeable than the others. Yes, Thunder is scary but she wouldn't leave a friend alone just because of that. That would be cruel and selfish. She stood up with her friend.

"I-I Won't leave you alone just because of fears." She added, giving a reason to stay with her friend. Her tail swishes slightly.

[Duststorm]

Dustpaw paused, giving her a long look. For a moment, it seemed he was going to refuse. And then, with his famous grin, he nodded. "That's the Rainpaw I like! C'mon, we'll sneak out through the dirt place." As he spoke, the tabby began to stalk towards the den exit.

A worried look came to her face as she thought the male was going to refuse but that quickly turned back into a smile when he nodded. She gave a smile. Her tail flicked a few times. But why did he pause? Did he think she was joking around for a bit? Was he worried for her? She shrugged it off for a bit. A purr left her throat then she followed Dustpaw out of the den ans soon out of the camp.
