after the disco, all of the shine just faded away all of the shine just faded away I yawned, stretching my legs as I peered around my new den-The Apprentices' Den. I was excited to finally be here, though my first day of training had tired me out and all I really wanted to do was grab a bite of fresh-kill and get some rest. Padding over to the pile, I picked out a rather small rabbit, and sat down to ear. After a moment, I noticed a familiar face appear in front of me.
"Well, if it isn't Freezepaw." I purred, recalling our memories of playing games as kits. |

"Melodypaw!" the other apprentice mewed when she noticed her kithood friend. "We're apprentices now!" she purred, excited to be able to talk about training and maybe share knowledge from training.

I said, flashing a smile as I recalled my first day of training. Trying to think of a good question to ask, I finally came up with "So, what have you learned so far?" I asked, thinking it might be a good idea to compare notes about our training. Perhaps we could both learn something from each other. |

Practicing crouching and stalking sticks and all, y'know, the usual." I said. Or at least I hope it's the usual. I thought to myself nervously. |

"Yeah, I did!" I replied with a smile. I was so happy that training had gone well, and that Freezepaw was interested in what I had learned. Though I did wish I'd gotten a chance to explore the borders, I was still perfectly content with improving my hunting skills. Trying to think of something more to talk about on the subject of apprentice training, I said, "So, are you training with anyone else, or just by yourself?"

"Nah, same here." I said, though I did wish I could have someone else to train with. Maybe it would make training more fun. However, I didn't really care; I liked training all the same.
