Fishkit sat alone by his mother's nest. He was yet to meet any kit friends. He blinked his pale eyes wide, taking the whole nursery in. It seemed huge. He stood up and padded around. The kitten watched nearby kits tackle each other, and wondered how that didn't hurt. Will I ever find a friend to play with? He thought, walking about. Unfortunately for Fishkit, he wasn't looking where he was going and he ran into another ball of fur. The tom staggered back and gasped. "Sorry!"

Brackenkit stumbled forward as a kit rammed into him. He had kinda a short temper, so part of him was annoyed. But he knew he really shouldn't be mad. It was probably just an accident. He turned to the tom and said " it's okay." Wow he didn't sound very convincing. He still sounded kinda annoyed. He cleared his throat and tried again. "No problem!" Better! "I'm Brackenkit. Whats your name?" He put on his best half-smile and waited for the other kit's response.

Dovekit sat in a nest near by the other two kits. She longed to go and talk to them and make friends, but there was no good opertunity to jump into the conversation.

Fishkit shrunk back at the kit's meow. He seemed..... nice. In some weird way. "Uh, hello Brackenkit. I'm Fishkit." He tried to smile back, but it was awkward and crooked. The patched tom looked over Brackenkit's shoulder, spotting another kitten. She was watching them, and her eyes seemed to be longing to join. Fishkit flicked his tail, nodding at the she-cat. He looked to the tabby kit again. "Should we go over there? I think she wants to join."

Brackenkit looked over his shoulder at the she-kit. "Yeah let's go!" He said he turned to walk over to the kit. "Hello, what's your name?" He asked confidently. "I'm Brackenkit. And right here is my new friend, Fiskkit." He flicked his tail at Fishlit and smiled. "We kinda just ran into each other." He laughed a bit. "So, who are you?" As he said it, he looked over his shoulder for Fishkit. Fish had been the one to spot the kit in the first place, so he should definitely get a chance to talk. And Brackenkit wasn't that great at sharing the spotlight, so he had to remind himself of this and actually be quite for a second.

Dovekit looked at the cats that had approached her. "I-I'm Dovekit." She said shyly. She had no clue why, but she would want to join a group that was playing and when they offered to let her join she got really shy.

Fishkit followed behind his new friend, smiling at Dovekit with a nod as he was introduced. He rolled his eyes at Brackenkit's remark about running into each other, but forced a laugh for it anyway. The gray and black tom's green gaze rested on the she-kit as she began to talk. "Hello Dovekit. Would you like to join me and Brackenkit's, er, group?" He didn't know how to word it, but his meow sounded about right. "Maybe we can create a special club, just the three of us."

Dovekit looked at the other cats. "Sure, I would love it o join your group." She said.

[Brackenkit]

Brackenkit flashed his smile. "Then it's official then! We are now a group!" He was happy to have a group of friends. "Okay then!" He said in a matter of fact tone, "We need a name for our group, don't you think?" He padded in front of the other two kits and looked at each of them. "What do you think it should be?" The tom looked at them with his blue eyes and waited for their response. he was good at doing things, but he wasn't the idea guy He'd leave the name up to them.

Fishkit purred, glad that they were all on the same page. The dark calico rolled his eyes at Brackenkit's tone, and turned to face him with a grin. "Good idea, we do need a name. What about..." He looked around for some ideas. A spider hung on its web. The Spiders? That name seemed a little off. He looked around some more. Outside, he spotted a warrior bringing a sparrow into the camp. The Sparrows? That's a little weird, too. Fishkit shrugged and looked at Dovekit. "I'm unsure. Do you have any ideas?"

Dovekit grined at the other kits."Well, We have Fish, Dove, and Bracken." She took a moment to think before the idea came to her. "What do th y all have in common?" She said. She had been thinking that the group could be called something that everything stood for. For example, Dove stood for peace. Broken grew in many diverse places. A fish cam in many colors. The colors of peace? Possibly. The one problem was that there was nothing that had any link to bracken in it. Or was there? Mandy there was something hidden in there for that she old for bracken. "I was thinking the colors of peace. We could use that because fish come in many colors and the dove stands for peace. Unfortunately there would be no link to bracken...." She said before drifting back into thought. She made sure that she would still be able to hear the other cats if they talked. Suddenly a thought struck her. She was older than the other two kits. "So, if that name is ok with Brackenkit then I don't see a problem with that name." She looked at @nemo. "Of coarse you would have to agree too." She said.

Fishkit thought for a moment at her suggestion. "That's not... bad. We need to find a way to include Brackenkit in the name, though. And maybe make it shorter." He flicked an ear and smiled to both cats. "We can keep that name in mind. Do either of you have any other ideas?"

"I know all of that." She said with a hint of irritation in her voice that she smothered as much as she could. She was getting a headache from thinking so hard. "Ouch!" She said as she noticed the pain that was spiraling through her head.

Brackenkit looked at Dovekit with concern. "Are you okay?" He said, his blue eyes wary. "Don't hurt yourself trying to think." He sat down and swished his tail. Doing this helped him think a little. He knew he wasn't the best idea guy, but he could try. Let's think... Dove was a bird. Fish was well a fish, and Bracken was a plant. So they might could be the Circle of Life Trio. Or was that too cheesy? The Multi-cellular organism gang wasn't going to fly, so he mentioned the first one. "Well, what about the Cirle of Life Trio? Or team or gang or whatever you guys want. You know, because a dove is a bird, fish a fish, and bracken a plant." He knew it wasn't great, but it was something. And maybe the others could think of something better based off of his idea. Or who knows? Maybe they'd like it.

Dove blinked. She nodded her head. "Hm... I, just being me, would rather just say circle of life. " she closed her eyes. Hm..... she thought, plats need water, birds need water and fish defiantly need water. Mabey they could say something about water if his idea didn't work for fishdarkswyvernn. Just maybe they could think of something with that. She was totally fine with the circle of life. There was one more reason for that name. Her eyes opened. "I also agree with the circle of life idea.
