The thin trunks of the birch trees stretched above Knight's head, their branches shielding him from the sunlight. A wind blew through the trees, making the day rather chilly, and the lack of sun in the trees was an easily ally to the cold. Knight's black fur did its' best to defend him from the on-slot of cold weather, but the odd chill broke through the barrier. The traveler tried his best to ignore it, but ever now and again he would release a groan of annoyance.
His black paws gently trotted on the ground, barely making a noise as he continued his journey through the trees. Knight didn't like silence, but unfortunately the lack of travel companions made this very common. A rustling came from the branches above, making the male wolf lift his head towards the noise. All Knight's yellow eyes found was a small sparrow who may have been frightened by his appearance in the birch trees. Knight watched where the bird had been just moments before until moving on his way.

Head huntress of the Canius Lupius pack was out and about. The snow was gone, the wind slowly began to fade and soon heat burned into her skin. Her one blue eye looked around and then she came to a stop and sniffed the air for any traces of meat. She was hunting for the pack, and partly herself.
She narrowed her single eye and then stalked forward lowly. She had caught scent of a elk, but something or one had scared it off. Cursing under her breathe she scanned the area and saw glowing yellow eyes. Her single leg in the front of her body stood strong claws digging into the ground below as she let out a growl.
"Hey!" she snapped menacingly then stopped. "Wait.. Knight?"

Knight hesitated when another wolf appeared before him. However, the wolf before him was familiar, he knew he had met her, but his mind couldn't seem to place a name. That issue was soon ignored because of a growl, as of instincts, Knight's muscles tensed to endure a possible hit that could fly his way, but nothing came. He had missed the words of the menacing snap, but heard words that were a little more kind. The she-wolf had said his name, which finally caused his mind to remember hers.
"Yes, fair Angel, that would be me," Knight answered in his usually polite words.
[ Sorry, tad bit tired. ]

WITHOUT YOUR LOVE, WITHOUT YOU I'D DROWN Angel stared at the lone traveler and narrowed her one blue eye. "I haven't seen you for moons.. where in all wolves hell have you been?"the female questioned as she tilted her head slightly to the side. Her and Knight had met back when she to was a lone wolf, she thought of traveling along side him but then he and her went missing and when he showed again she had been in a pack.
The she-wolves scarred tail swished from side to side as she shifted her weight and then stared at him. "You haven't changed a bit I can see, with your ye' old talk." | NOTES sorry its so lazy i has a tummy ache |

Once everything had calmed, Knight's muscles relaxed, and he was glad to be known by other wolves. His name had spread to quite a few ears, but not enough to give him a shield of protection against all wolves of course. "Here and there, traveling these beautiful lands," Knight answered. He smiled at the thought of his travels, for that was what the male wolf enjoyed most.
When what was called 'old talk' was mention, he smiled even wider. "Of course, fair maiden. Knights are known to talk in what you call 'old talk'." Knight said, his voice gentle.

WITHOUT YOUR LOVE, WITHOUT YOU I'D DROWN She gave a toothy grin. "I really wish I would of joined you, you got stories locked in your heart from your journey I can tell. Must be nice." she woofed and then sitting down she scratched at her ear with her only front leg and looked back up at him and chuckled.

The corner of knight's lips perked up into a smile. The many stories he could tell shuffled through his mind, only to go again with the coming of another. What added to his happiness was seeing that Angel was also smiling with a toothy grin. "Yes, I have plenty of different stories, fair maiden," Knight paused before adding. "But having a companion would've made them much more memorable." For the longest time, the black wolf had been traveling as a loner. His only dream to see the many different, and unique things in the world. Knight had only his diplomatic, and fighting skills for safety, but unlike quite a few wolves, no pack to help him.
"Indeed, my name suites me well." Behind Knight's name was a story, a story that had nearly shackled him into a boring life with no adventure. Despite the story it carried, he had always liked his name, since it was so very suitable for him.

"Oh I'm sure you'll find your queen soon enough and she'll be your travel buddy for years on." she woofed and then she chuckled. "But I remember you always saying you liked being alone." she joked with him and then she nodded. "That is very true your name suits you much to well, why mine does not at all. Parents should of named me Monster or Nightmare."
