If his eyes were still perfectly functioning the medicine cat would have noticed the bleeding paw. Instead, he saw two young creatures - kits. Hmm. Who were these? The crying was unbearable though.
"Is something the matter?" he questioned the two. He knew of how emotional kits often got, and these two were probably almost apprentices by now.
