DuststormBluepaw laid in her warm nest not paying much mind on whats going on around her. The lilac point siamese she-cat noticed dark clouds have formed around the once blue sky. She knew what that ment and that scared her. She was terrified by the thundering sound, the bright light, and the drops of water. She closed her blue eyes trying to prepare herself for the upcoming storm outside. She didn't prepare herself enough though. Right as she heard the loud sound of thunder her eyes opened wide. She let out a shriek of fear and jumped to the side when she seen the light. She felt some one under her she looked down to see a tom cat. "I'm sorry." she said as she quickly got off of him. I didn't mean to jump on you." she said as she flinched at another loud sound coming from outside the apprentice den.

There was another storm outside. Dustpaw had grown quite used to the roaring thunder and flashes of lightning, though he still noticed other apprentices flinch every few moments. He couldn't understand why sound and lights were scary. They couldn't hurt you, right?
But he wasn't one to judge. Or, in fact, ignore them. So, when the first blast of sound caught his attention, he was startled when a cat landed on top of him, squishing down his ears and muzzle and trodding on his tail. The silver tabby had laid there for a few moments, not sure what to do, when the cat suddenly retreated and apologized.
Blinking firefly golden eyes, Dustpaw flashed the apprentice his signature grin. "Nah, it's fine." he meowed, twitching an ear at another strike of lightning, followed by the thunder, of course. He didn't respond except for a lash of his tail, and a twitch of his eyes. Its just sound. he thought. Nothing bad. Yet when he noticed the stranger with a fearful expression, he softened. "Hey, don't make a face like that. Its just thunder." he purred, stretching his tail out and lightly setting it onto her shoulder. He hoped she didn't mind. "It can seem scary, but what can sounds and light do?"
He really wasn't good with these kind of talks. Ah well, snickered Dustpaw. Nothin' wrong with that.

Bluepaw looked at the older silver tabby tom. She gave him a small shy smile back at him. The young apprentice was embarrassed about what just happened. Not many apprentice, even kits aren't afraid of some small storm. But this lilac point she-cat was terrified, it's the second thing she fears. Her first is having one of her friends or family getting hurt in a battle.
Bluepaw tried her best not to make another face like she did. "I know it's just thunder but it's still it is really scary." she said quietly looking down at her gray paws. "I don't know." she mumbled quietly knowing he was right. A sound and light can't hurt you right? She thought t herself.
"Oh I'm so sorry, my name is Bluepaw." she said looking back up, when she noticed that she hasn't said her name yet. She again flinched at the thundering sound, that still went on outside the apprentice den.

"I'm Dustpaw." he said, glancing up at the ceiling when another roar shook the den. He sighed. "Yeah, I know it can be really scary. And there's nothing wrong with that." He paused. If this was Rainpaw, he would have offered some sort of comfort. But he didn't quite understand this cat's boundaries yet. He didn't want to go to far.
Dustpaw shivered as the familiar chill overtook his body. He hated the cold. "Brrr...! I wish I was a long-haired cat! Its cold!"

"It's nice to meet you Dustpaw." she purred with a smile. BLuepaw knew that the tom's words where true, but she couldn't help but be scared. It has been that way since she was a small kit.
The siamese she-cat looked around the quiet den that would be filled with the loud thundering noise from the thunder, every once in awhile. She let out a giggle at his words. "I know me too." she said a she smiled at him. She has asked that a lot the past few days, it was raining and snowing.

Dustpaw shivered again, and suddenly, he realized there was a leak in the den. And just like before, it trickled down right onto his nose.
He sneezed softly, shaking his head and glaring playfully at the little dripping water droplets. "I'll be swimming in my nest if this keeps up. You'll have to call me Fishpaw then." he joked, forgetting about the leak for only a moment as he leaned forward-only to get a rather large splash on the top of his head. The tabby gave his head another toss, and then drew his paws over his ears to wipe away clinging water droplets. "Ahck! I feel like the weather hates me-bringing cold air and rain!"

Bluepaw gave a soft giggle, amused with his playful glare at the drop of leaking water. "It probably does Fishpaw..." she said giggling more.

Dustpaw sniffed good-heartedly at the teasing. "Watch out, fishes can be deadly." he meowed.
((Me too....))

"I highly doubt that." she purred. This is the first time she actually talked, she was shy ind didn't walk up to random cats and talk to them. If someone needed to talk to her they'll go talk to her. She was happy to know she could at least make a friend as an apprentice.

Dustpaw lashed his tail. He was about to say something when more water dripped onto his forehead. "Hmm... this really sucks." More thunder sounded above, yet he was glad to see Bluepaw coming out of her shell. "So... uh... changing the subject, what do you want your warrior name to be?"

"There is open space on the other side of my nest, if you want to move your nest." she told him, maybe the water isn't leaking over there. She again flinched at the thunder. "I want Bluefeather, Bluerose, or Bluesmoke." she told him.

"I'll take that idea, thanks." said the tabby as he scooted his nest where she had suggested, moving away from the leaking ceiling that seemed to be getting worse. "And those are cool names. I like Bluerose, but all of these fit pretty good." He was actually surprised at her picks. They were different than names chosen moons ago by his ancestors-fur, pelt, tail, heart-now it seemed nearly every cat wanted a prettier name. It wasn't a bad thing, though. It was actually quite nice. "I want to be called Duststorm, since that was my name in the Warriors games as a kit. Or... Dustcloud or Dustsky, I guess. Something to do with weather. Dustfall... Dustrain... Dustbreeze... meh, I like the first three, but I could name tons if I had the time."

Bluepaw smiled at him, she was happy to help. "Thank you." she said. Bluerose, and Bluefeather where her favorites. Bluepaw giggled. "I think everyone can go on and on making names. I liker your names too." she told him.
(sorry for laziness and not being on.)

((It's fine))
"Thanks." Shivering at the cold, the tom pushed his paws against his chest and sighed. "Random question-who's your mother?"

The she-cat watched as he shivered from the cold. "No problem." she told him as she went back into her warm nest. "My mother is Leopardfire, who is yours?" she said as she laid down trying to be as small as she can to stay warm.
