Life had been a bit boring for Voleblaze lately. The long-toothed tom was in charge of two apprentices, Cloudpaw and Cinderpaw - but the former seemed to have disappeared, and the latter was almost ready for his warrior ceremony. He didn't have much else to do except the usual patrolling. And in all honesty, the black feline found his usual patrol companions to be rather dull. Where had all his old friends gone? For that matter, what about his brother? Talonpaw hadn't been seen around camp for a few moons now, and Vole was worried.
Frowning, he sat up in his nest and looked around. Maybe it was time to meet some of his other denmates.
