Cloud Chasers [O]

[Fallensnow]

Fallenkit blinked lazily up at the clouds, longing to feel their puffy texture under her paws. It’s a pity cat’s can’t fly, I bet a cloud feels softer than feather-down, she thought to herself. Twitching an ear, the black-patched she-cat felt the sudden urge to jump to her feet and run around, but kept her composure and simply rose to her paws.
I guess spending the morning lying down is finally getting to me, she concluded, energy surging through her. Rather than mindlessly running around, the golden-eyed kitten looked around for someone to play with, spotting another cat not far off. Giving a welcoming dip of the head, Fallenkit introduced herself, “Hi, I’m Fallenkit, would you like to play a game with me?"

Silverkit looked up from where he was eating a bird and spotted another kit who had asked him to play. Silverkit tried to talk around his food saying "mumhmhufff" and then took the time to swallow before trying again. "Sorry," he laughed lightly. "I'm Silverkit. And I'd love to play," he said bouncing a bit on his toes. "What game do you want to play?"

Fallenkit chuckled softly along with Silverkit, then tipped her head to side; curiously thinking of games while her golden-amber eyes lit up brightly. “I like the game Warriors,” she decided finally, “would you like to play that with me? It’s really fun, and I can explain the rules if you don’t know them,” she offered, her black-patched tail already flicking excitedly.

Fallowkit overheard the soft words of the game. Warriors. Being a new kit, she didn't understand what that meant. Weren't they all going to be warriors one day? What did they mean by that? I think it's a game. she thought, trotting carefully across the den. Why can't I play, too?

Stopping at the two, the little silver she-kit had a curious look in her blue eyes. "Can I play, too?"

Silverkit smiled at both Fallowkit and Fallenkit. "We can all play!" He bounced on his paws once more. "Fallowkit," he said looking at the younger cat, "We just pretend like we are warriors and fight each other of pretend hunt."

He looked at the two cats in front of him. "I am 'Silverstar' of IceClan and you are on my territory. Leave of die!" Silverkit said in a proud voice positioning himself to jump at Fallenkit.

Fallowkit grinned as the game began. It didn't seem too hard. Just pretending, right? Lashing her tail behind her and raising her chin proudly, the little kit stomped to Silverstar and gave him a playful glare. "I am Fallowstar of... uh... RockClan, and this is now our territory!" She didn't know what else to say, and since Silverkit had already taken the IceClan position, she decided RockClan was second best. Or, well, any Clan was fine in her eyes. She didn't really know why she picked the rock-jumping cats.

Oh well, she purred to herself. A least I'm a leader!

She didn't know how RockClan cats acted, but she hoped she was doing a pretty good job with her lashing tail and 'mean' look.

Fallenkit’s eyes lit up as the game begun. Her bronze gaze flicking between the two. IceClan or RockClan? she thought as the “leaders” spoke. If she became an IceClan warrior then Fallowstar would be outnumbered (which would hardly be any fun, two again one just wasn’t fair in her opinion), and the situations would reverse if she decided to join RockClan. So, of course, she picked the the most obvious choice.
Playfully flicking her ears, her joyful eyes narrowed, “It seems both of you are mistaken. You see, this territory belongs to neither IceClan nor RockClan,” she said coolly, lashing her tail and raising her head, “this territory belong’s to FireClan now"

Fallowkit crouched like Silverkit, eyes narrowed. "RockClan shall win, so don't even try and fight us!" she said, giving a low, gentle growl. "RockClan warriors can... jump... and we'll win like that!"

SIlvlverkit laughed in a high voice as he jumped in a high arc at Fallowkit. "Too bad both of you are wrong!" He yowled wickedly trying to bat the other kit down underneath him, of course with paws sheathed. "You cannot hunt on the territory that is rightfully mine! And I saw some dirty RockCLan cats all over this place!"

Of course Silverkit's attack was sloppy, expected from kits, but one day he would be a great warrior. So he pretend that day was today. Playing pretend was almost as good as the real thing. He was glad he could play with these two kits, crazy as the were. 

[Fallowpaw]

Fallowkit struggled to her paws, throwing her chin high and smiling. She couldn't help it. Of course, if this was a real situation, she was sure she was sure she wouldn't be grinning like a fool. "IceClan no longer lives here, Silverstar! For it belongs to RockClan now!" she cried, pretending she was the strongest cat in the world, and trying to swipe with claws sheathed at Silverkit's ears.


((also isn't that powerplaying? Saying you batted me to the ground, instead of saying you "tried" to? Not angry or anything, just pointing that out!))

Silverkit rolled under Fallowkit as the other kit cuffed Silverkit's ears. Still, the smile hung in the little grey cat's eyes. "Your just lying. No body likes lier!" He laughed as he went back at Fallowkit. He tired to push the cat down again as he missed his footing and crashed into a bunch of other cat's fur all at once.

When he fell, instantly Fallowkit cried out in horror. Was he hurt? Was it her fault? "S-Silverkit, are you okay?" she asked.

Silverpaw laughed as he bounced back on his feet. "I'm fine silly," he called hopping around to get the sore feeling out of his muscles. He liked playing and didn't mind taking a little hit while at it. He looked at the cats in front of him as he hopped towards Fallenkit. "Still, you need to get off my territory!"

Fallowkit instantly recovered, yet there was still a hint of worry in her blue eyes. "As if, for we are RockClan!" Giving a cry, she attempting to swipe at his ears again. "Bow before us rocky warriors!"
