Smokepaw only. Barrensong rolled around in the newly sprouted grass, enjoying the fresh smell on her coat. It was sweet and sharp with a hint of mint to it, making the scent quite enjoyable. The eyes on the warrior sparkled like no other. It was her first year of the newleaf season and she already declared this to be the best season of all. She really loved the whole complexion of this season, unlike the white blankets of no leaf. Now that was a terrible season.

Smokepaw’s grey eyes caught on a pale pelt. Blinking, he could detect a strangely familiar scent under the pleasant aroma of pant life, Applefall? he thought curiously. Edging closer to the she-cat he became more sure that’s what he was scenting. I guethth thhe’th probably one of my thiblingth then, he concluded, curiously looking the she-cat over. He had never met anyone that was related to him before, yet for some reason the she-cat seemed faintly familiar. Had he seen her around camp? Probably. Gathering courage he padded into the she-cat’s range of vision, “Hi, um, I’m Thmokepaw,” he introduced, fluttering his curved ears nervously.

Barrensong was busy caught up in her rolling that she did not notice the smoky cat's presence until it gave out a sound. Hmm? Thmokepaw? She rolled over, laying on her stomach, looking u at this Thmokepaw. She was confused. Which queen would even dare to name their young Thmoke? Was that even something?
The warrior was confused and tilted her head, wondering why she felt so inclined to understand this cat; it was like there was something pulling them together. There it was. Her nose detected it - the smell of Applefall's milk in its breath.
'So he's my younger brother?'
The warrior flopped her tail and gave a short smile. What a peculiar way to meet a sibling, but this had to do.
