To long for a nest? (Open)

    Longpaw stretched out in his nest, his four paws outside of the soft mossy border. The small young apprentice yawned as he was bored, and ready to play. He got up, sadly towered a few apprentices, and hoped they wouldn't make fun of his long legs.

HEAVEN

Silverpaw's first day of training had truly tiered him. He now law in his nest resting after walking around the while territory. He was about to drift off when he heard someone pad up behind him. Silverpaw lifted his head and saw a cat looking at him, almost sad. The cat had a friendly appearance in Silvrpaw's opinion, but also had extremely long legs.  

Nevertheless, Silverpaw rose to his feet, looking oddly short compared to the other apprentice, and spoke. "Hello," he said flicking his tail. "I'm Silverpaw. Who are you?" He asked kindly. His mother, Rowensky, never failed to each him proper manners, and proudly, Silverpaw upheld them.

    Longpaw blinked, wanting to out to explore, but got stopped as another apprentice got up. He grew more surprized as the other tom walked towards him with a greeting. "Hello, I'm um.. Longpaw," he said, once again worried. He did try to enjoy his name, and hopefully eventually will, as it is who he is.

The grey cat sighed as he settled back into his nest for just one more moment. The cat in front of him seemed very reserved and quite, but that did not faze Silverpaw. He offered a brightening smile and spoke in a cheery voice. "How are you, Longpaw?" He asked and once more settled in his nest, trying to get comfortable.

    The tom didn't think the other apprentice would turn on him, so he became more confident. "I'm fine, and you? Who's your mentor?"

Silverpaw shrugged. "My mentor is Horizonshadow. Hes a good one, not to strict but strict enough to actually teach me a thing or two. I mean I like him." Silverpaw sat down and licked his tail in measured long strokes. "What about you? How is your mentor?" Okay, so being a apprentice now was harder than being a kit in the aspect that you have to sit and have neat and measured conversations. Well darn it, Silverpaw thought.

Of course that didn't mean that Silverpaw didn't get to have any fun as an Apprentice, because he did. And frankly, he would choose being and Apprentice over being a kit. But at the moment he was struggling a little with that. Never the less he kept his paws still and his voice in a measured tone. But nothing he could do could keep the little glint out of his eyes.

    The cream mix blinked, "Wow you're lucky! My mentor is Meltingstone, we were friends when we were younger. I don't get trained too much, but she's still good." He then blinked and thought, "What do you like to do?"

Silverpaw sighed. He liked his mentor a lot now that he though of it. Horizonshadow trained him a lot actually and Silverpaw enjoyed it...a lot.

He considered Longpaw's question for a moment. What did he like to do? A lot of stuff he supposed. "Well I definitely like training and playing games is always great. Anything really...Oh" Silverpaw added. "I like to eat birds...a lot," he rolled his eyes at himself. It was so stupid, but true. 

"What about you?" Silverpaw asked returning the question. "What do you enjoy doing?"

    The tom blinked, wishing to find more people nice like this. He didn't know very many. "Birds, does sound pretty good right now.." he said, in his mind his mouth was watering. The tom didn't do much, and didn't really enjoy, "Well.. Sometimes I play games, just not too many. Don't have people to play with."

Silverpaw smiled att all the answers he got from his wonderful new friend. "Well I'm hingry, but playing a game sounds fun too. Whatever you want to do is cool with me!" The day was getting late and the sun was making everything a little hot. Thankfully though, they could play or eat inside in the shade.

    The tabby blinked and blinked his eyes, "Uh well.. What games do you like most?" he asked. He didn't know too well, he thought tag, hide n' seek, warriors or other games were cool. But they sound like kit games..
