Den Cleaning and a Bit of Prey (O)

<yeah, den cleaning won't last long! I'll tag you in another thread after we wrap this up>

"Yeah, it is fun, isn't it?" Coalpaw grinned. "You're a big help. Thank you." She replaced the dirty moss that Rabbitkit just moved with clean bedding. "How about you try and do this last nest on your own? It'd be good practice. Plus you need to put that extra energy somewhere!"

Rabbitkit took Coalpaw's advice on trying to get as much practice in as possible. He didn't quite understand what she meant about putting all that energy somewhere, he didn't think he had a whole bunch of energy. Rabbitkit finished off cleaning the last nest by himself.
" Well then! " Rabbitkit said. He was sad that the duty was done.
" Hopefully I'll see you around? " Rabbitkit asked hopefully.

"Definitely!" Coalpaw grinned. "I'll make sure to come back to the nursery when I can!" She gathered up the dirty bedding to throw out.

"Goodbye!" The apprentice waved her tail at the kits as she walked out of the nursery.

" Bye! " Rabbitkit called out sadly. He really didn't want to see his friend leave but he knew he would see her again someday. Rabbitkit sighed and crawled up into the new moss and fell asleep.
