Palewing trotted out of the warrior's den after a long nap. Her fur stuck out everywhere, but she didn't seem to mind. This just made her look like a cloud. The she-cat walked over to the prey heap, dragging out a trout and setting it down a few tail-lengths away. "Who wants to shaaarree?" She sang, looking across the clearing.

Fallensnow padded out of the nursery, stretching and letting the warm sunlight heat her pelt. Her feathery pelt glinted with a dull, healthy sheen as she looked around camp. The black-and-white she-cat blinked as she heard a voice speaking, smiling warmly when her bronze gaze landed on one of the warriors. “I wouldn’t mind a bite of fresh-kill,” the she-cat said, giving a welcoming nod as she approached the other cat.

Palewing turned to face the source of the voice, and purred when she spotted the she-cat. "Sure! Here." She pushed the prey in the other direction, wanting Fallensnow to have the most. She smiled sweetly as the new queen padded up to her. "So, I'm Palewing. You're Fallensnow, right? Congrats on your new position!" Her gaze went back to the trout. "You can have most of it. You'll need your energy."

“Thank you,” Fallensnow purred, warmed by the congratulations, then eyed the tout, “but are you sure you want me to have most of it? I’d feel a little guilty eating too much prey before I’ve caught any myself,” the black-and-white she-cat said, though she was glad the warrior had thought of her.

"No no, go ahead! I insist." Palewing retorted, pushing the fish closer to the she-cat. "So. How's your day been? I haven't done much myself, though I might go hunting again if you want to join me."

Fallensnow gave a thankful twitch of her tail as she leaned to down to take a bite of the fish, her attentive ears listening to Palewing speak. Sitting up again, the black-and-white she-cat swiped her pink tongue over her muzzle before answering. "Well, my day's been about as eventful as usual-- which is to say not very. And I would be delighted to accompany you out hunting, I'm sure the nursery won't fall to pieces if I leave for just a little while," the young Queen stated lightheartedly, sneaking a glance at the milk-scented den. Luckily there had been no recent trouble-makers in the nursery, and with most of the rambunctious kits advanced to apprentices she figured it wouldn't hurt anyone if she made a small hunting trip.

"Oh, of course it won't. Rowansky can keep it under control. I'd love for you to come with me!" She smiled and twitched an ear, noticing Fallensnow look at the nursery. Being a queen's a big responsibility, having to think of your kits all the time. Maybe a hunt will be like a little break for her. Palewing thought to herself, and her gaze went to the prey. "We can go when you finish that up. No rush."
