Her lime green eyes followed her head as it turned to stare at the creamy orange-white apprentice. She flicked her ears and then gave a gentle smile. She nodded and sat up as she made her way to her nest and sat down patting on the ground with her paw. "Sure sweet-heart come sit down over by me. I'm Leopardripple, what kind of story would you like?" the onyx-graying elder asked tilting her head to the side.

"um... i hadnt thought of that..." softkit said tipping her head in thought as she walked to the spot leopardripple had pointed to and sat down, still deep in thought. " i know!" softkit said as she flicked her tail with excitment "tell me about when you were a warrioir"

With a soft laugh, she grinned. "Its okay, most expect to hear of amazing wars or about the territory or something crazy." she said and lowered her head as she lay down and crossed her front legs. She tilted her head as she waited for the she-kit to speak. "Ah yes, warrior-hood. Okay, I'll tell you about when I was a young warrior rather than a senior." she stated and then she sat up and cleared her throat. "Also what's your name?" she asked as she started to think of a story in her head.

"Very nice name, its lovely to meet you." she said and then she shut her eyes and re-opened them her venom-green eyes lighting up as though she was just a young warrior again. A grin spread across her face and she chuckled. "Okay, so my time as a warrior was rather fun. I had just left the apprentices den and moved into the warriors den. When I got my warriors ceremony I was named Leopardripple, and I had to sit vigil for the night. It was hard I'll admit I was booming with excitement." she chuckled as she looked her straight in her light-brown eyes. "I had lived a easy life for a while, I hunted, I did patrols. Normal stuff a warrior did, well then there was another batch of ceremonies and I was given my first apprentice. Snakepaw." she mewled as she blinked. "We started training the next day, I didn't realize how hyper active the young male was. He would always run around and do everything in his power to annoy me. Little did he know he had a warrior who had lost her insanity as a apprentice. But thats a story for another day, we would train long and hard for days on. Hunting, Battling, mixed. You name it, it was fun." she said. "Tell one day I had gotten another apprentice, by then Snakepaw was already on his final so I set her up at the beginning and oh... I can't remember her name, its going to kill me.." she muttered and shook her head. "No matter, I started to train her and hunting one day I saw a few birds in a tree, so I told her to climb the tree and try hunting from high areas. She did and the branch broke under her weight." she said. "She had fallen and broken her leg.. man it was awful, I never wanted to be a mentor again I had feared I failed." she mewled. She shook her head and sighed. "The apprentice was unable to train for a while. Which meant I was out of a job, so I lived my own life for a while trying to forget the horror, and one day I was on a border patrol when I ran into this deathclanner and ... ick I don't want to talk about it, least to say I betrayed my clan. I had fallen for the male and had a kit with him. We named it Hypnos.. I haven't seen the kit sense I was named a elder, its kinda sad." she muttered. "But I remember always doing everything in my power to enjoy my warrior life as much I did as my apprentice, but my warrior life just wasn't as fun so its harder to remember." she stated and grinned. "But the freedom is nice, I'll tell you that much."

" i liked that you chose to tell me that story in particular, and when i grow up i want to be just like you! even though you had some bumps along the way your still a great cat" softkit said, admiration in her eyes.
