Spiderstar walked into the Shared Clearing with his chin high. If this were to be his first appearance as Treeclan Leader to the other clans, he'd step up his game. It appeared that only Darkstar was here so far, and as he climbed up the large tree he gave her a small nod. "Greetings, Darkstar. I am Treeclan's new leader, Spiderstar. Glad you decided to come tonight." He said, glancing down at the cats beginning to sit below. "This tree looks smaller from down there." He mumbled, suddenly feeling rather uneasy.

Darkstar's gaze turned from the tree bark to the new cat. "I see TreeClan is still finding the most quality leaders it can," she replied with sarcasm laced in her voice.

Scorpionpaw Word count ► 140 | Music ► Cornflake Girl - Tori Amos | meh ► blah blah blah Scorpionpaw made her way into the clearing behind some of the warriors of her clan. Ordinarily, one would be excited, though she didn't exactly enjoy strangers. This would be a learning experience for her though, which is really the only reason she agree'd to come along. The dark colored apprentice made herself comfortable somewhere towards the middle of the clearing, relatively distant from her own clan though not out of ear shot.
She peered around the area, taking in all of the faint scents of the other clans that hit her incisors. It practically put her mind in a whirl. The petite apprentice noticed the other clan - TreeClan - entering the scene from the corner of her eye. Here we go.

Spiderleaf padded into the clearing, her eyes wide; but she was only looking for one tom. She sighed with disappointment at not seeing him however. There was no scent of Iceclan in the air, so perhaps she merely had to wait. He was rather important now after all, so he'd appear before long. Hopefully being at a gathering and under the eyes of their clanmates wouldn't keep him from talking to her.
The black and white queen padded into the middle of the clearing and sat down. There was no harm looking around while she waited for her best friend. THIS IS THE NEW YEAR

i'm golden I'm out on the edge and I'm screaming my name Like a fool at the top of my lungs Sometimes when I close my eyes I pretend I'm alright But it's never enough Cause my echo, echo Is the only voice coming back Shadow, shadow Is the only friend that I have |

Raggedpaw held his head up as he padded into the clearing. This was his first gathering, and he wanted to appear as important as he could. The furry tom padded past Spiderleaf, flicking his friend's shoulder with his tail to cheer her up, before continuing on. He was more nervous than he let on, and desperately trying to find a cat his own size to chat with. Finding a warrior just seemed too daunting at the time. Luckily, or perhaps unluckily, there was only one other seeming apprentice in the clearing, and Raggedpaw made a beeline for Mottledsnow
"Hey! Mind if I bother you? If I look busy, I might not seem so lost." Or at least that's what he was hoping for. Either way, the look in his eye was a little desperate. ISHY of THQ & ADOXOGRAPHY

Vixenleap limped behind her leader into the clearing, she stared at the other cats. "Wow.." She glanced around, maybe she could find someone to talk to. The former deathclanner limped around, looking for someone to talk to. But her healing broken leg was slowing her down.

As River made her way thought the clearing she spotted a unfumuliar pelt and tilted her head, seeing that the other female seemed to be a little a loss. River shrugged and made a bee- line for the female that scented of swamp and forest this made gave he an idea of why she had very little clue whom this was she was probably a fewer warrior just joined the ranks after leaving or getting kicked out of death clan.
She smiled and her blue tinted optics lit warmly as she caught the other's eye and she spoke with a soft voice "Will you join me dear?"

Scorpionpaw Word count ► 126 | Music ► Cornflake Girl - Tori Amos | meh ► blah blah blah Scorpionpaw's ear flicked as she noticed the presence of a RockClan tom - some other apprentice, the only other one to show up yet. He smelled of soot and gravel, making her nose slightly wrinkle. The look in the cats eyes was desperate and a little pitiful; enough so for her to say something back. "Sort of. Hi." The FireClan she-cat spoke, curling her disfigured scorpion-like tail around her paws. "RockClan?" She asked sort of flatly - she wasn't good at talking to strangers, but she guessed this was a learning experience too. Man he was zippy; too bad she couldn't share his nervous excitement.

Vixenleap glanced over at the warrior, who certainly wasn't in treeclan for all she knew. She nodded and mewed, "Y-yes, of coarse!" She then limped over to the other warrior, "My names vixenleap, a loyal warrior of treeclan!" She mewed proudly.

His initial relief was simply because the apprentice hadn't sent him away. He supposed that was supposed to give him confidence, and tried to pretend that it did, sitting down with a sigh. He smiled, a small sign of acknowledgement at her words. "Fireclan?" The ragged tom mimicked, nose twitching at the smell of grass and heat. "I'm Raggedpaw," he introduced himself with a quick, subconscious lick of his spiky chest fur. With his gaze turned down he noticed the she-cat's strange tail and his eyes widened slightly in surprise, but he didn't mention it. That was a little too rude. "Is this your first gathering?" Scorpionpaw Word count ► 111 | Music ► Cornflake Girl - Tori Amos | meh ► blah blah blah She nodded in response to him, hesitating on even responding for a good while. She was like a sponge, she only really had one ear on the tom as she listened in on the conversations of the other cats of the clans. Finally, she said, "Scorpionpaw. Yes, it's my first. I don't know what to expect tonight." She said, pulling her tail somewhat closer to herself. Scorp looked the RockClanner up and down - "Raggedpaw? Your feet aren't mangled, nor is the rest of you. That wasn't very logical."

Cherryheart followed along to the gathering. The tabby went and sat down on her own, looking around where the many cats where standing.

Cloverstar strode in as she led the RockClanners into the clearing, looking more poised and stately than she actually felt. She glanced around before moving to the leaders' tree. She blinked in surprise when she saw the cat next to Darkstar. A stranger, as far as she knew, but he smelled of TreeClan. Beechstar's replacement, she realized. The leader must have retired or died, somehow, and Whitehawk hadn't taken the spot.
She climbed onto the branch, curling her tail around her paws as she sat. "Hello, Darkstar," she said, as casually as she could. She turned towards the tom.
"I am Cloverstar, although I believe you knew that already," she said. "You are TreeClan's new leader, I presume?"

Robinfrost took a deep breath, and exhaled. Wildstar was absent, and he'd be speaking for her. He couldn't say he wasn't nervous, but he was prepared. As he approached the clearing, he paused, poised at the ridge. He had never been to a gathering before, but he'd heard plenty - he just never imagine there could be so many cats. The scents mingled together, making the air fill with a heavy, putrid scent. He lead IceClan down into the gathering clearing, dismissing them to mingle.
He jumped up to a tree branch, instantly searching for a certain someone - Snap— Spiderleaf - but he didn't see her. If she was there, she was sure to see him in the tall tree. He wanted to speak with her again. He nodded to the leaders. "Hello. I will be speaking on IceClan's behalf tonight, for Wildstar is absent." Again.
