As the tom crashed into her she let out a growl before turning her head and looking down at the other cat. Speak. Speak normally. DONT mess this up, EarthPaw. "Are you ok? Im Earthpaw, a girl who doesn't watch who's banging into her." She purred with amusement before looking at the rest of the assembled clans. "Not much... What's the point of a gathering? All you do is sit around for a few hours listening to people babble about their clans, I mean who wants to hear that?" She grunted, a soft tone entering her voice. "Wow Im turning soft, just like these forest cats." The massive she-cat muttered. This is going ok! First cat you've spoke to today. This could end well, Earthpaw.

(For God's sake, you guys. At least wait for a leader to say something before posting a million times per hour. Threads being flooded out is part of why Gatherings were hardly made.)
Once Spiderstar was finished, Robinfrost returned to the branch rather quickly. Cloverstar only gave a nod in response. She couldn't really blame him for wanting to socialize, even if abandoning a position on the tree wasn't ideal to do. It could get tremendously awkward sitting up with the heads of Clans who could be your ally or your enemy at the drop of a leaf.
She glanced over at Darkstar before stepping forward. "With the arrival of newleaf, RockClan is flourishing as well," she began. "Sunblaze has retired from her position and we now have a new medicine cat, Gullcry. We have also had a new litter of kits, who are promising as future warriors. May CloudClan watch over them. The prey is growing abundant as well, as expected for this season."
Her voice didn't waver, something Cloverstar was inwardly far prouder of than she'd admit. Now done, she stepped back to allow either Darkstar or Robinfrost to speak.

Willowpaw listened respectively to the RockClan leader. I have never met a RockClan cat.. She thought to herself.

Shiverwind mingled around, searching for his apprentice. "Willowpaw..?"

Firepaw turned to the leaders, flattening her ears in shame. I didn't even realize they were talking. she thought, listening to one speak-who she thought was Cloverstar of RockClan-and the finish up. Nodding at her words, though she doubted the she-cat would look her way, Firepaw waited to see who would speak next.
Leaning over to Willowpaw, the ginger she-cat giggled softly. "Do you think the leaders get along? It doesn't seem like they do."

She whispered back. "No, I think they just try and look like they get along to look noble." She took a look around, and flicked her tail when she spotted her mentor. "Over here!" She whispered quietly to him.

As Cloverstar stepped back, no one else seemed to make a move to stand, so he did. Just do what the others did, he told himself. Your good at making speeches, Robbie. You always have. This time isn't any different. He raised his chin slightly, addressing all of the cats below him. It was so quiet and there were so many. He waited until the quieted down fully, then cleared his throat.
"IceClan is doing well," he began. It wasn't entirely true - they were running slightly low on warriors, and Wildstar hadn't been seen for moons. But they weren't doing badly either. But he knew he shouldn't say such things. Nevertheless, he held a passive expression on his face. "Prey is running well, especially with the arrival of new leaf, and the river is clear." He said.
I don't announce deaths, right? He asked, thinking about the former queen that had passed away. "We have new litters of kittens as well, growing fast. The old deputy, Dustpetal, has retired and I have taken her place. This year will be a good one," he stepped back, nodding to Darkstar. That wasn't so hard.

"I wish they would all be friends." Firepaw muttered, and then glanced over as Willowpaw gestured someone else to them. She liked Willowpaw. The apprentice was nice, and they seemingly got along. Truthfully, Firepaw wished they weren't enemies at all. Ears twitching at the approaching warrior, the ginger apprentice managed a soft whisper after Robinfrost, the IceClan deputy, spoke. "Who's that?" Her green eyes were curious on the warrior, who she didn't know to be Willowpaw's mentor.

"That's my mentor." She whispered to her friend. "We should really be quiet now.." She also added, flicking her ears towards her own deputy speaking. She didn't want to cause any trouble at her first gathering. She also did not wish on disturbing the cats around her.

Raggedpaw chuckled at the she-cat's words, secretly relieved. He'd expected her to be a little more hostile, considering he'd run right into her. "Earthpaw, it's nice to meet you. Good name, considering the clan you live in." The tom grinned kindly; this was going better than his encounter with Scorpionpaw. "Strengthening clan relations and the like, I suppose." He replied with a shrug. "Though letting us make friends then getting us to fight each other seems a little sadistic, even for them." In general Raggedpaw wasn't impressed with any of the leaders, except Darkstar. Noticing the leaders speaking, he turned his head, but wasn't exactly interested either.

"If I say this myself I'm honestly not impressed by ANY of the leaders. I dont see what you clan cats see in your leaders. Rogues live by themselves and clan cats have to ruled by some... Kittypet of some kind?" The she cat growled with a hostile tone. The she-cat couldn't remember if the tom had introduced himself as she was too concerned about it being a successful encounter. The scanned the tom, pacing circles around him very slowly. Then her eyes glowed for a second and she sat down, her tail lashed once and her head lowered until her chin touched her chest. "You just cant fix your fur can you, Raggedpaw? If you want I can help with that. It may make more cats want to talk to you and you'll look my authoritised." The she cat meowed with a blank expression. "How are your parents?" She added quickly before he could gain any concern over why she knew his name.

"Yeah, I suppose." Firepaw whispered, glancing around with wary eyes. Other cats were still murmuring to one another. Didn't they respect the leaders? Talking should be left for before and after news is shared. Not during-that was beyond rude.
((We do keep the thread open after the leaders speak, right? And if so, for how long?))

Raggedpaw's ear twitched, and he shrugged. Turning a somewhat placating gaze onto Earthpaw, the Rockclan tom sighed. "Wasn't Beechstar also from outside the clans? And it isn't like Spiderstar has rumors circulating about his heroism. Perfection is overrated, Cloverstar is good at what she needs to be good at. He really had no intention of starting a confrontation, particularly over something so removed as leaders, but Earthpaw's personality had just suddenly changed. He lifted his chin, somewhat proud. "Nah, I quite like my fur. Gives me my name and all. If others want to judge me for it, that's their mistake."

Nightshade, for once walking around again, walked haughtily into the Shared Clearing. He smelled the air for a moment, not recognizing any of these cats, and approached a nearby Fireclanner with a weird tail. ( Mottledsnow that's you) He figured that probably put him the general vicinity of Fireclan. He then eyed the assembled leaders and began to talk. Quite loudly. "Y'know, Spiderstar looks pretty fluffy. I wonder if he feels as soft as he looks. Although he probably wouldn't taste very good. Too much padding." He lifted his paw up, inspected it, and turned back to the leaders. " Cloverstar, though, looks quite delicious. Quite delicious." He said, licking his lips. "And I don't just mean flavor-wise." Then he looked at the cat next to him with the weird tail. "Hi there. Nice tail." He then made one last look around before making a final, very loud, comment. "Oh, and I see the Iceclanners still haven't admitted Wildstar fell off a cliff or something."

Scorpionstar Word count ► 153 | Music ► Momma sed - Puscifer | Notes ► blah blah blah
Scorpion narrowed her eyes at the black tom approaching her, though she kept her attentions fixed on the leaders. For a time. Then he began speaking about their distinctive flavor. This tom smelled of FireClan, though she couldn't say she recognized him. She merely listened for a while before actually deciding to speak. "Sorry, I don't swing that way." She spoke in regards to the RockClan leader. She seemed a bit too drab anyway. "Spiderstar? He is a bit too scrawny, much like a spider. Wouldn't make much of a morsel for anything, I would guess. Maybe his mid-section?" She inquired, peering at Nightshade now from the leaders. "Thanks. Nice appetite." She shot back, flicking her tail in the air a bit.
