Firepaw purred, "Thanks!" before turning to the stranger. She had seen this apprentice before-or maybe she hadn't. She wasn't sure, and she certainly didn't want to make a fool of herself already. Standing up straight and proud, she smiled at the other she-cat."I'm Firepaw, by the way." And then she remembered her. "Oh, your Softpaw! You were watching my match with Fallenpaw the other day!" she meowed, happy to get it right. Maybe I should meet warriors from another Clan, instead of talking to other FireClan apprentices.... she thought, flicking Speckpaw and Foxpaw with her tail before dipping her head. "Well, this is a Gathering. I'm going to go make some new friends-good luck!" And then the ginger she-cat bounded off.
Looking around, she wondered which cat would be the nicest. Or maybe just a lone figure to have a friendly conversation with. Trotting about, she found just that-a warrior smelling of trees and squirrels sitting away from everyone else. Gathering a friendly smile, she padded over and took a seat close by, yet still having a fair distance of strangers.
"Hello," Firepaw meowed to the TreeClan she-cat. "I'm Firepaw. Why are you sitting all alone? Don't you want to talk with anyone else?" It was a question out of curiosity, not of being an annoying little apprentice that had to know everything about somecat's life. And she hoped the warrior((Fadingnight)) wouldn't see it as that.

Duststorm felt his fur bristle at the sudden voice in his ear, and his heart nearly leaped out of his chest. But he managed his signature smile, turning to Rainbreeze and chuckling. "Nice try."
Looking around, he went on. "So what do you think of your first Gathering?"

Speckpaw meowed a quick farewell as Firepaw left. He wanted to meet others too, but he didn't want to leave his brother and Softpaw. It was fine, though. He didn't know if he had the courage to go up to another clan cat.

Softpaw did but didn't want to go talk to any other cats, as most cats were already talking to 2 or 3 others and introducing herself to one cat was scary enough. Wanting to talk about something other than training softpaw asked " anything exciting happen this moon?"

The gray apprentice thought for a moment. "N-not really. Foxpaw h-hit his head, but th-that's about it besides training. Firepaw, Foxpaw, a-a-and I try our best to t-talk whenever we can."
"Anything exciting happen to you?"

Softpaw thought for a minute " well, I met two different warriors, one of them was named echoflight and one of them was named amberflash. Echoflight and I are friends but I'm pretty sure I annoyed the living cloudclan out of amberflash. It's weird. I felt this weird urge to please her" softpaw said, smiling shyly" it was the first time I've been yelled at and I didn't respond very well" she said with a purr

"Oh..." Speckpaw mumbled. He knew Amberflash. She was Foxpaw's mentor. The first (and hopefully last) time the tom had met her, she blamed everything on him. Of course, she was right. The whole incident was his fault, but she didn't have to yell at him like that.
Speckpaw shook involuntarily. Amberflash scared him. A lot. "I-I've heard of Echoflight a-a-and I've met Amberflash. She d-didn't like me very much..."

A Gathering. The Turkish Angora hopped around the Shared Clearing, keeping a watchful eye on her leader. Even though there was supposed to be a sense of neutrality between the Clans, she had to be prepared. She even saw Cloverstar more than just a mere leader - the she-cat was her mentor and honestly one of the closest relations she ever had. Unfortunately, there was no way for the apprentice to sit beside the leader. She would have to sulk off and meet potential enemies. Got to get close to your allies, and closer to your enemies, right? She surveyed the area, looking for a lone cat to start off with. Crevicepaw didn't see anyone interesting; they were all conforming, so she did what she did best - steal the spotlight. "Hi everyone, I'm Crevicepaw!" she announced.

The she-cat was slightly disappointed that she didn't scare the tom. Her face fell a bit but picked back up quickly. "The gathering is cool but I'm not used to all the cats. Its to crowded..." She confessed, looking around for a moment to look at all the cats walking around ant talking.

Crevicepaw smiled as the russet orange tom introduced himself. A somewhat superficial one, but it was sort of cool to know cats from other clans, she assumed. "Oh hey, you do sort of look like a fox," she inquired, pacing in a circle around the Fireclanner sniffing in his scent. A bit foul and full of grass and dirt, but at least it still had the natural air smell on him that she was accustomed to. "Fireclan. Foxpaw. That's easy to remember." It was a challenge for her to keep an interest in the tom, but she was willing to try. Crevicepaw quickly headbumped herself into Foxpaw's shoulder. "And you're furry. Furry Foxpaw of Fireclan." Yup, Crevicepaw could be strange at times.

Duststorm nodded in agreement. All these cats around was making him feel uncomfortable, and every cat who wasn't TreeClan would give them odd looks every once in awhile. Maybe it was because of the scent of the forest and leaves, but then again, they didn't smell any better. "Yeah, it's kinda strange. All these cats... I didn't even think the Clans were this big."

The she nodded, agreeing with the Treeclan tom. "At least there aren't a hundred cats in a clan, then it would be even more crowded." She joked, turning her head back to Duststorm as an image forms itself in her head about the hundred cats, how wold they even fit in a camp?

"True. Then we wouldn't fit here. Duststorm meowed, wondering if his apprentice would show up. He saw his sister in the corner, yet she was speaking with someone else.
