The huge apprentice sat at the entrance of the med den. Her long, thin tail coiled delicately over her paws and she squinted one of her eyes as a small gash on the left side of her forehead caused blood to trickle directly over the eyeball unless she closed it. The tabby waited patiently for the medicine cats as they were probably busy with more serious cases than a grass snake bite. A few drops of blood had landed on her paw although she felt only a tiny sting in the bleeding bite-marks in her forehead. Earthpaw slightly expected her mentor to be here soon although she would 100% understand if she didn't come.

Snowblossom walked in after her apprentice and sat down. " Grayshade, Liongrowl!" She called. The medicinecats would be busy, but she hopes that they would find time to look at this apprentice.

Earthpaw blinked a few times to clear some blood from her eyes but only let more in. She was tempted to paw it away but knew that would affect the wound even more. "I think they're busy. Anyways. I know forest cats have different beliefs. What is the clan that your ancestors are in?"

Liongrowl heard the call of a cat and he rushed over to see them. "Get to a nest over here." The tom waved with a paw towards the nests as he saw what happened and immediately padded towards herbs. Obviously it was a bite and he knew just what to do with this. He grabbed some Snakeroot and padded back over to Earthpaw while mumbling to himself something only loud enough for him to hear. The orange tom started working with the Snakeroot and figured he needed something more. "So how did this happen?" He asked the apprentice and warrior.

"I was showing Earthpaw the bordors and a snake bit him." She said motioning for Earthpaw to explain anything that she hadn't. "Our ancestors go to CloudClan, if that is what you were asking earlier." She said in a quieter voice to Earthpaw this time.

Liongrowl flicked an ear. "You two can have that talk later. Right now I need to take care of Earthpaw. Let's make sure we watch where we walk why don't we? If you see a snake don't go messing with it." He said and shook his head. The orange tom grabbed some Dandelion and gave it to Earthpaw. "Chew on this."

"Ok....." She bit one of her large fangs into the yellow flower and snapped her head away quickly. "WHAT IS THAT?!" The huge tabby growled. I wasn't messing with it! It was cold and smooth and the sun was so hot. I thought it was a rock that had been in the shade before the sun had reached it. Not MY fault. "Oh never mind." She closed her eyes and chewed it quickly. She hesitated. Did she swallow it or spit it out?

"You can swallow that whenever you're ready," He said, noticing her hesitating look. "It's just Dandelion. You'll live." Liongrowl added to the growling apprentice. He shook his head and sat down for the moment though he knew he was going to have to get up in a moment nonetheless.

"I'd hate to catch greencough. Then I'd have to scoff a load of your disgusting herbs. What next? Eye of newt?" She teased, her tail swaying as she thought about her meeting the next day. "So I wont get an infection? And I take it that wasn't a poisonous snake?"

Liongrowl mumbled to himself and then looked from warrior to apprentice. If you got greencough I would ask Grayshade to help. He thought since it was a more serious thing. "You will live; you will be fine. Grass snakes are not poisonous." The orange tom said to her.

" I didn't think I'd die anyway. But I got another scar to add to the collection!" she mewed and gestured to the other 7 scars. This was not a fun hobby. "Thank you so much, LionGrowl. It was nice to meet you." she purred and nudged his cheek before sprinting swiftly away.

Liongrowl shook his head and felt her nudge his cheek. "I'm just doing my job.. Stay out of trouble next time, kid! And look out for the snakes!" He called after her. (this thread is over)
