Let's listen to a story. Once upon a time, there was a King who trumped every living thing of a forest. He was more powerful and frightening than that of a wildfire, but he had two daughters and a son that he would die for in any instant. The first daughter was like the sea, a constant storming of rain and confusion. She was wise and loved her father beyond compare. Then one day, she disappeared. The second daughter, a small, scrawny excuse for a being, became a walking asylum. She was unfixable, and wherever she went, bad things followed. Lastly, the son, he was strong and noble, and did what ever he could to make his father proud. Then one day, he too disappeared. And all that was left was a shell of the second daughter.
To this very day, there is still a shell of the second daughter. Her name is Amai, or as she calls herself, Princess of the forest. And on this day, she sits beneath an old cherry tree, looking up at the clouds, as childish as a pup. But she now wears a new title, she is now an Alpha. She must hold herself accountable for a new set of lives. So she sits up and flicks her ear as the sounds of fur against the bushes, clears the fog in her mind. "Who's there?" She made her voice loud and clear, trying to get her point across that she held a very high position. Trying to sound like a Princess.

"My, my. It looks like I'm just reuniting with many of my old friends."
Kodi padded from the shadows, from where he had spotted Amai, sitting alone. She looked very regal. Princess of the Forest. What a title she bears. The black wolf paused in front of her, a grin on his face. He felt old, recalling past memories of himself with his "sisters" and "father" and the Puppeteers. Those were the peaceful days, where he had nothing to fear or worry about.
But, those days were gone, decomposing in the shadows of his mind slowly.

With one voice, all her worries faded away. She turned to look at her "sibling", a giant smile on the scrawny, white femme's muzzle. "Kodi!" She woofed happily. She looked him up and down and saw how powerful he became, unlike the princess, he was fit and strong; fully fed. While Amai was skinny, and weak; all her bones showed. She had been taking Hellhound and Korosu's disappearance hard, considering Korosu was actual blood. She hadn't eaten a decent meal in who knows how long. "How've you been, brother?"

Kodi couldn't help the chuckle coming from him when she lightened at the sight of him. "Amai. Dearest Amai." he replied, tilting his head. She looked scrawny. Pitifully so. "I've been fine. Moving around here and there. Though, I am concerned about you. You look like a stick." he barked.
"Did you hear? HellHound is back."

Her face slightly fell when he noticed her weak state, but she righted it with a small smile. "I'm fine Kodi. No worries." She got up and walked around to prove her point. She was about to make another round just to prove she was fine but stilled when a certain name fell from the brute's lips. Hellhound is back. She whirled around to face Kodi. "Truly? He's back?" A look of disbelief but also longing swept across her face. Her eyes became slightly glossy with emotion.
