"Gecko!" the dark gray and darker striped apprentice squeaked. She crouched down, rump in the air, before springing up and clinging to the den wall. She hung there, a few inches from the ground, and forced her river-blue eyed to be wide and creepy like. The pupils were slitted, like that of a hunter, or a reptile in her case, and with a blank expression Geckopaw hopped back down to her nest. "Gecko!" she cried. It was dusk, and only a few apprentices were in their nests. Hopefully nice ones. "Gecko! Gecko! Gecko!"
She liked pretending to be a gecko. It certainly was one of the most amusing actions of an apprentice. And, being she had turned into one just a day before, she still had the imagination of a kit and the heart of a salamander. For she was Geckopaw of RockClan-cue the dramatic action music as she bounds across the den.

Crevicepaw was trying to sleep, but there was a repeated voice lurking among her slumber. Something kept saying 'gecko.' Was she supposed to hunt one? Maybe it was a prophecy to tell Cloverstar. Maybe Cloverstar would place Crevicepaw's assessment as a hunt for gecko. As the sounds repeated, louder too, the Turkish Angora rose from her bed, eyes squinting to find who was being a ruckus. A dark gray apprentice who was so pumped for something. What though? "I think you're a cat," she teased, pawing the air into a stretch.

At the voice, Geckopaw turned to the location and tilted her head. "Ge... cko?" she murmured, and then scampered over, sitting with a wide grin and her tail lashing with excitement. "Hmm... but being a normal cat is no fun." she whined playfully, wondering who this cat was. A stranger, of course. Gecko barely knew anyone in RockClan. "I rather be me... and my name is Geckopaw. How 'bout you?"

Oh, Geckopaw reminded Crevicepaw of herself - young, free, a bundle of energy. "I'm the Queen of Excitement!" she cheered, smiling. "I sorta lost the Queen of Boredom though." Crevicepaw shrugged, wondering if she would see Mousepaw ever again. Maybe, maybe not. Maybe she became a warrior already. "Geckopaw's a really different name," the Turkish Anora stated, getting out of bed. "I'm Crevicepaw."

"Crevicepaw?" Geckopaw repeated, making sure she kept the mental note in her brain so she wouldn't forget later. "That's different, too. But it's kinda cool." She seemed nice. That was a good sign. Though, the dark striped she-cat didn't really understand the whole "queen of excitment" thing. But it sounded pretty awesome. "Well, if your the Queen of Excitment... I call being Queen of Geckos." Gecko replied with a triumphant smirk. Queen of Geckos... heh, that had a funny ring to it.
And she imagined herself standing atop a boulder, staring down at millions upon millions of the little lizards. Queen of Geckos....

"Well Queen of Geckos, it's a pleasure to meet you," she giggled, remembering the Queen of Boredom's introduction too. Crevicepaw watched as Geckopaw climbed up a boulder and looked down on her. Okay, Geckopaw seemed like someone she could get along with; they meshed together pretty well too. "Your Highness." she bowed, dipping her head. "I'm sorry, but there seems to be a revolt in the kingdom!" With this, Crevicepaw hopped out of the apprentices' den and tackled a few selections in the fresh-kill pile. "Stop! The Queen has arrived!" she gasped to the dead creatures, playing as if they were the commoners.

Instantly, her smile faded to a much more regal frown, and her voice deepened with authority she wasn't very good at. "A revolt?" she growled, though couldn't help the corners of her lips twitching with a grin. She hopped off the border, passing the imaginary millions of geckos, and stopped beside Crevicelight at the fresh-kill pile. She played shock quite well. "How dare they do such a thing in my presence!" she roared, imitating a furious badger while stomping her feet. Man, she was gonna play all the animals today, wasn't she? She swung her head towards Crevicepaw, river-blue eyes giving away her excitement and fun. "What do you suggest, Queen of Excitment?"
