Over the Moss and though the Den [Open]

    Rosekit scampered though the den, intent on making it outside. This was her first New-Leaf! She wouldn't have to see snow or be crammed in the nursery all day. She made it out of the den and saw a beautiful sight, all the green trees, grass, and flowers! Her dark tabby fur felt really warm in the sun, she shook it out and sheded fur went flying everywhere. "This is amazing!" She mewed to no one "Look at all this color!" Without thinking about kits who might be sleeping, Rosekit stuck her head inside the nursery and squealed "Come out! The snow has all melted away!"

"Really?" Autumnkit pricked her ears and ran out of the nursery with mild excitement. The snow must have been all gone! Why would the other kitten lie about something like this. She stared around with a somewhat pretty olive green eyes. The snow really had melted! "Wow! It's beautiful!"

    Rosekit stared at a bright red labybug crawling across the thin blades of grass. "Yeah! It is awesome!" She did a little spin on one paw "It seemed like yesterday this place was gray and cold!"

Autumnkit purred as she nodded in agreement at what had been said. The camp looked beautiful without all the disgusting snow! She stepped over to Rosekit to admire the tiny red ladybird thst was crawling nearby the two.

It's colours were beautiful. She lowered her nose, trying to get the tiny creature to crawl onto it's pink skin. It flew away and landed on some far away flowers.

"Aww."

Snowkit huffed irritably and trotted outside. She wasn't the best around other kits, but she was hoping she could make a few friends anyways. As she stepped out of the Nursery den she noticed a couple other kits sniffing the flowers and playing with some of the 'new insects' aka a ladybug, flying around in circles above their heads, then to land some flowers further away.

She suddenly felt-- reluctant to meet the new kits, debating whether or not it'd be the best decision. I do have a bad attitude sometimes, she thought to herself and pondered the question of whether or not she'd approach them.

"Mm.. Whatever sure, I'll try." she muttered under her breath and straightened a bit, walking over to the other kits then half-squeaked, "Hello, I'm Snowkit."

Suddenly, a sound was drawn to Autumnkit's brown striped ears that pricked at the moment. She turned around with her small head tilted, looking at the other kits that had just entered the area, "Why hello!" She purred sweetly before continuing with a smile, "My name's Autumnkit!" She waved her tail around, she had never seen so many kits all together at once. Was she making friends?

She hadn't expected some of the kits to be as nice as they were acting. She was reluctant to be completely comfortable around them though, and stifled a soft purr, "Nice to meet you, Autumnkit." She tilted her muzzle and surveyed the young she-kit, who was about her age. She was quite envious of her pelt, as she was of so many kits. Her fur was plain white, she didn't really have anything special, but she wouldn't let anyone know about it. Her jaw tightened and she tried to manage a smile, "Who's your mother, Autumnkit?"

        Rosekit didn't pay much attention to the other kits, she was chasing a black sand wasp around, but when they started to introduce themselves, she turned and looked at them. "And my name's Rosekit!" She mewed darting around, trying to find the insect again. Then she stopped again and waled over to the other kits. She decided to make a pun out of the white kit's name. "If your name is Snowkit, why aren't you melting?"

Oh, I see how it is. "You're not so bright yourself, Rose," she replied tartly, only to realize she'd probably offended her a bit. She sighed and apologized, "Sorry, I'm just sort of sarcastic if you haven't noticed, and thanks, but I'm not melting."

    Rosekit gave a toothy grin and shook her semi-spiky fur. "Oh it's fine." She mewed turning to look at her own gray-brown fur. "I dunno why they named me Rosekit actually." She turned to the tabby kit "I like your name too, Autumnkit. I wonder if you'll be Autumnleaf or something."

Snowkit became suddenly curious and then asked, "What do you hope you are named, Rosekit? You know, as a warrior."

    Rosekit thought for a bit, then mewed "I'd like to be Rosethorn," She turned around to show them more of her prickly fur "I look like my fur is made of thorns, so it would fit."

Snowkit titled her muzzle then mewed, "Interesting..." then said, "I'd like to be Snowspring. No reason really, I just think it sounds pretty."
