Sunpaw hadn't been an apprentice for long, and he was still quite unfamiliar with the apprentices' den layout. He'd already found a nest, and had made sure no unfamiliar scent marked it before he claimed it for himself. He was on his way back to the nest, having just gathered extra moss to add to the older pile, when he brought his paw down on what felt very much like a tail. Stepping back, he saw that his guess had been correct, and he quickly dropped his moss. "I'm sorry," he said, embarrassed that he hadn't been paying attention to where he was walking.

He couldn't wait to see his old friend again. He lay in his nest for the majority of the day. He was about to get up when someone stepped on his tail. He turned about to growl at the cat when he noticed it was Sun. "Sunpaw! Hey buddy. Welcome to the apprentices den." He purred and approached the cat. | |

Taking a closer look, Sunpaw realized the tail's owner was one of his first friends, Darkkit- Darkpaw now, of course- and purred. "Thanks," he said, his voice warm and friendly as always, his blue gaze kind. He was happy to see Darkpaw, and it showed. "So how've you been? How's training?" he asked, his tone light and conversational.
