((yo, always need to have a weird title ^>^))
It was dusk. Yep, pretty much dark outside. The dusk patrol was already gone, the hunting team had just returned, and cats were falling into sleep. Though, little did anyone notice, young Geckopaw couldn't be like the rest. I mean, come on, its night time! Perfect time to go do something rebellious!
So, with such a wide and evil smirk, she sneaked easily out of her nest-yet had a bit more trouble making it around everyone else. Dodging, ducking, disappearing... another word with the letter 'd'? Uh... daringly? Heh, anyway, this was all good in all until the one she didn't see was ahead. Oh sh-
-oes
"Waaaah!" she cried, tripping over said nest and into not-said sleeping cat. She glanced back sheepishly, surprised to see a familiar face. "Oh-@jcoonwolf!"

(The larks eating geckos? o-o)
The tabby was snoozing tiredly, then opened a green eye as she felt something trip over her. "Hey do you mind-" she blinked her eyes to get a better sight, "Geckopaw? Oh Hi!" The calico stretched and got up looking at her friend, she gently poked her with a paw. "What are you doing up so early?"

((no idea....))
Geckopaw stood up, licking her flank in embarrassment. Early? It wasn't even moonhigh yet! "Don't you mean late." she corrected, river-blue eyes lighting with mischief. "And my answer... totally not going out and putting ants in Spiderstar's nest or anything." At this, she snickered to herself. Oh Yeah, she was going to do that.

"What? I felt like I was sleeping forever.. and what?!" she said with a frown. Larkpaw was always a 'goody' cat, and never expected to hear anything like this.
(Sorry late,)

((Nah, it's fine.))
Geckopaw grinned, "Yeah. Nothing better than a girly scream from our fearless leader. Want to join in the stealth mission, Larkpaw?" Truly, she didn't see a reason for her offer to be rejected. Who wouldn't want to hear Spiderstar scream a girly scream?

"For what? What are we going to do?" she said, respecting her leader, so she stayed still. "If you get caught, you'll have to clean dens or check for ticks!"

Geckopaw scoffed, "Then I won't get caught! I'm a master at sneaky pranks and being amazingly charming! I can ninja my way in there and poof without so much of a second thought going by." she meowed, then quickly glanced around. She wasn't worried about getting caught... more like a little snake-hearted apprentice giving her away. That wouldn't be very good for her. Not at all. "Come on, Larkpaw. If your always a goody-four paws you'll never have any fun. And every punishment is a lesson learned...." she giggled, "A lesson learned not to get caught the next time. Well, if we are caught."

"No, the lesson is not to do it!" she said horrified, "I wont be able to go, I'll get in your way anyway." The calico was softening her frightened gaze, almost having second thoughts.

Geckopaw frowned, and then rolled her eyes. "So what? You just don't want to get in trouble, and the only way for that is to get caught, and since we're not gonna get caught there's no risk!" she replied. Sure, she could certainly complete the action by herself. But where was the fun in that? Sneak around, laugh really loud, get caught-or not-, and do it all over again. That's what friends were there for-to be a sidekick in your evil acts!
((we could tag Spider and actually get caught and stuff.... :3 ))

"I guess.. but only this one time!" she said, looking around quietly. Oh no.. The young apprentice looked around again, and walking up to Geckopaw, following her lead.
(Oh no.)

(Is that a "oh no this will end badly" or "no don't do that"...?)
Gecko grinned. She then bounded swiftly out of the den, careful to keep her pawsteps silent and breathing low. She looked around, glad no other cats were in the clearing surprisingly-probably curling up into their nests-and flicked her tail for Larkpaw to follow. With a growing smile and sense of dread she had learned to ignore, the dark striped apprentice made her way across the clearing and towards Spiderstar's den, stopping just outside with ears flat and eyes wide. She glanced down.
Bingo. Ant hill.
She stifled a laugh. Everything was perfect-too perfect. But, no warrior fled the heat of battle! Same went for the mighty Gecko! With her paw, she scooped up the little buggers and peeked inside.
This was gonna be... great.
Oh, whoops. She forgot the Plan B.
Gecko pulled her head out of the darkness, as she hadn't seen Spider through the black anyway, and stabbed a paw at the fresh-kill pile. Her eyes pleaded with Larkpaw. Hurry, grab something from there!

(Both, more as in it will end badly.)
The multicolored apprentice followed low, still worried, and almost seeming as if she'd explode. She was worried, since she spotted a hill of ants by the leaders den, and didn't want to tell. A small sigh formed, but she kept quiet, when she saw Geckopaw spot the anthill. She then shook her head to herself. Larkpaw tilted her head when she poked the freshkill pile, then sighed fully and grabbed a mouse.

((well, I'll tag him next post. But just because I do doesn't mean Lark has to go through with this and get in trouble, kay?))
Geckopaw nodded, and then peered into Spiderstar's nest, eyes narrowed and lips peeled back in a grin. She glanced at Larkpaw. "Ready?" she whispered, hoping she wouldn't back out but giving her the option.

(Sure thing, )
The feline gulped, worried deeply. 'What?' she mouthed, to confused to speak. Larkpaw looked in the den, blinking rapidly. She had a pulse go through her, as if the leader glared at her.

Geckopaw gave a giddy little laugh before she gathered more ants and snuck careful, so ever carefully and slowly, into the darkness of the den. She crept like a ninja towards the one and only nest there. The shape within the cover of moss. The shape of her leader. She stifled any other emotions, keeping a blank face to hide any laughter or loud breathing. She has sneak attacked many cats, whether purposely or accidental, and she knew the strengths and weakness, the things that hindered your chances of success, the possible outcomes, and every such option. Despite being a weird apprentice who found amusement in pretending to be a lizard, or scaring everyone's fur off despite the risk, she fully considered everything about her attacks. From there being crunchy leaves on the den floor, or a rock to trip over, or even the sense her victim was aware of her... she had thought of it. She stalked closer. Closer. She held the pawful of sand and bugs out, stretching her arm to its full length so she wouldn't have to inch any nearer. Gecko grinned mischievous. Spiderstar hopefully wasn't awake....
