(love this old man someone)
Moonpool lay on his side at the edge of camp alone in a patch of sunlight, half awake. Ever since his best friend Rainfeather , his mate Ashfang, and his precious daughter Littlepool has all passed he had let his health diminish. The pain of the three closest cats to him all passing away within the same moon had really crushed him. Since then he had not been eating or grooming himself much. His fur clung to his skinny frame and his tail was matted as well as some of his belly fur.
Moonpool had dosed off and lay in the sunlight for a few hours. It was a little past sunhigh and he woke up to an awful feeling. He shut his eyes tight and let out a horrid noise before throwing up. He breathed heavy as the pain faded away and he could feel the sudden rise in his body temperature. He had laid in the sunlight too long, he was overheated. His winced as his stomach tightened and he was getting dizzy. He was going to have to see a medicine cat.
Cursing to himself , the old tom struggled to his feet and began to make his way over to the medicine cat's den. He hesitated before entering the den. He looked around, it stunk of herbs but he could not see anyone around. "H-hello?" the tom croaked looking around. His chest felt heavy being in here, the place stunk of herbs and he felt weird knowing Waspwing, Fernpelt , or even his grandson Mintfrost would not be the cats to treat him. He was about to call out again til he began to heave again. His stomach was empty but he still threw up a hot, slimy substance. The tom panted as he crouched down and growled out of frustration.

Liongrowl had his mouth full of herbs as he padded into the den. He put them down and blinked. Someone's here. The orange tom turned to face the other cat and gave a worried look. He looked overheated and the smell of the vomit was unpleasing to Liongrowl's nose. "Ah, come now. Let's get you to a nest. I'll grab something to get you to stop throwing up. Plus we will need to give you some wet moss to start cooling you down." Liongrowl thought for a moment and looked back at his herbs. I'm sure we will need some willow leaves. "A nest is just a little bit over this way. I'm one of the new medicine cats by the way: Liongrowl." He said, and tried to help the tom move a little bit over to the nests, but wondered whether he should just build a little nest around him. I might need Grayshade to help with him being overheated.
The orange tom padded over to the herbs after trying to help Moonpool get settled into a nest yet he looked back at him with a frown. "Exactly how have you managed to get yourself into this position? Are you just overheated or is there something more wrong?" He asked, turning back to face the herbs, grabbing some moss and dipping it into the little pool of water before taking it over to the tom with unusual markings. (sorry it's a bit shorter than your post)

(Nono it is cool, my post was longer than usual anywho)
Moonpool's ears perked up as he heard a voice and the elder turned his head to see an orange coloured cat had entered the den. He went to stand up and greet the cat but his legs felt somewhat numb and wouldn't push his weight up. Liongrowl pointed him in the direction of a nest and Moonpool tried once again to get to his feet, getting a sick feeling when he stood up. "Okay.....yeah Liongrowl." he muttered as he walked slowly to the nest. His head was spinning and he plopped down in the nest once he reached it, letting out a long breath of exhaustion.
The elder adjusted himself slightly and winced. "Well....I just fell asleep in a patch of sun .....but I ain't used to this warm weather yet....and haven't eaten much recently so I guess my body didn't like the combination." he explained hoarsely as he cranked his neck to sniff the moss. " I have been meaning to come in here for stomach pains for ages though...I think skipping a few meals ever now and again has been messing with me...but now I am just dizzy. Really dizzy and sick" he breathed as he took a lap at the wet moss and swallowed the water with slight difficulty .

Liongrowl brought over some honey to Moonpool. "This might help you a little bit on the swallowing part. And I'll go grab you a piece of prey in a minute," He said and grabbed some willow leaves for Moonpool to eat. "Lap up the honey and then eat the willow leaves. But take your time. We don't want them coming up before your body can manage to use them." The tom looked around for a moment and made sure that the moss Moonpool had was still moist. He didn't want him passing out.
"I'll be right back and grab you a mouse or vole." He said and padded out of the den swiftly, trying to get back to Moonpool quickly as well. Liongrowl grabbed a vole and made sure it was plump for Moonpool to eat. He brought it into the den and sat it down for the elder. "If you want to take a bite or two if you feel a little better, just don't push yourself if you feel you're not going to keep it down." He warned.

Moonpool looked at the leaves and honey and sniffed curiously at them. He looked up at the young tom "Okay..." he mewed before starting to lap up the honey weakly. It has an odd, sticky feeling and did not taste like much. At least it didn't taste bad, it kinda soothed his throat actually. He watched Liongrowl walk out of the den to get some food and he began to chew the leaves. They were somewhat bitter and made his stomach churn again but he knew they would help in the long run. He stopped after each leaf to give himself a minute to rest. Having his head anywhere but down on his paws made him feel fairly dizzy. He ate them slowly as well to make sure he wouldn't be sick.
By the time Liongrowl was back he had eaten a small portion of the willow leaves, still working on getting rid of the small pile of herbs. the elder looked at the vole " Thank you Liongrowl..... I am going to let my stomach settle before I try eating that, but I will get to it soon." He mewed, flicking his matted tail. He began to feel hot again, starting to pant, so he turned his head to drink some more water before going back to the remaining herbs. " I am too old for this..." he mumbled ending his statement in a slurred curse. His body was not in the best shape to be getting ill and it was frustrating to have to be taken care of.

(heeyyyyyyy moon ol' buddy ol' pal! i kid. i kid. i also totally forgot to make a thread for gray and moon, i guess this will be it.)
"Liongrowl?" Grayshade asked, irritable. She was looking for the other medicine cat--they needed to restock on tansy. She stuck her head out of the medicine cat's den, wincing as the bright sun hit her eyes. As she grew accustomed to the light, she spotted her coworkers pelt next to one she recognized a bit--Moonpool's.
She trotted over to the both of them, becoming more concerned than annoyed as she approached them. The elder looked sick. "Hey, what's up?" she asked, catching the last bit of the conversation. "Overheated?" she asked sympathetically. As they entered greenleaf, they were going to have to be more careful about cats--especially the elders--sunning themselves. It could just prove to be too much.
"Honey?" she asked Liongrowl to confirm. "Does he have a fever?" Then, to Moonpool: "Do you have a fever?" She caught a last glance of the leaves before Moonpool swallowed them. Willow. Good. "Juniper berries, too," she suggested, glancing at the sun-heated throw-up and lowering her head to sniff it. Hey--she had a gory job.
"Borage if he has a fever," she mewed, ever in the habit of telling cats things they already knew. She glanced at the prey, half of mind to make Moonpool eat it right then and there, but knew the elder's stomach would have to settle and the willow leaf would have to set in before he could eat anything else.

(Eyyyyyyy. This thread will do yes but like future....me...you... many threads. yes? yes. )
Moonpool was just finishing up the last of the willow leaves as a she-cat entered the den and began to speak to Liongrowl and himself. Moonpool lifted his head up and squinted before realizing who it was. "Hello Grayshade, nice to... see you well. I am just...a bit overheated is all." he said quietly as he watched her eyes flicker around, accessing the situation he supposed. He groaned and put his head back down on his paws as he began to get dizzy. His skinny frame deflated quickly as he let out a large breath and he closed his eyes for a minute. His torn ear flicked as she asked him another question. He opened his dull green eyes and spent a second hesitant to answer, confused slightly if she wanted him or the orange medicine cat to answer.
"Ummm... I might... have a fever...I mean I do feel very hot. But...." the tom trailed off. He was very hot but he was unsure if it was from him being overheated or a fever. The elder felt a drop in his pride as Grayshade sniffed at the substance he had up-chucked earlier. Oh how he hated being in the medicine cat's den for treatment, he felt like a kit being taken care of though he appreciated it.

(yes. yes. many threads to come, future be i don't even know anymore)
"Nice to see you too, Moonpool," Grayshade mewed awkwardly, "But you've looked better." She frowned. It sounded like a fever, but so did overheating. She couldn't be sure. "You should take some borage, just in case," she mewed at last, glancing at Liongrowl as she went to fetch them. "I mean, they won't hurt if you don't!" she called over her shoulder, then placed them in front of the elder.

The orange medicine cat agreed with Grayshade and then looked at the two of them. It appeared as if they knew each other and he gave a tilt of the head for a moment before turning away again to grab some more water for Moonpool. "I'm not sure if he's had anything more than overheating, Grayshade. But yes having some herbs for that should suit him quite well I think." He said, looking at the herbs Grayshade had gotten for the elder.
