Hailsong shifted. She turned on her back then quickly rolled onto her belly. She curled up and put her tail on her nose. Still not comfortable. She stood up, the young warrior wasn't tired anymore. She stepped on some tails and paws before making it outside. She closed her eyes. The sun was warm on her face. Hailsong looked up. Oh, Starclan! She thought, Sunhigh already!? I slept right through the morning! She lay down and licked her ruffled fur causally, as if she just got back from hunting.

The still fairly young feline padded back into the camp dropping her heavy laden jaws of prey on the well kept stalk of gathering food. she turned in the direction of the den and noted the young female whom sat near the entrance she gave a small smile as she recodnised the pelt of a former acquaintance. She picked her way softly towards her with a low head she gave a small gesture as in a Hello, She shook her head "There is no need to fake what has not been done" she almost laughed as she continued "Plus we all have our, late mornings" she settled next to the female and pried slightly "Ahh, yes last time I saw you. You had your eyes on a young Fellow RainSpirit wasn't it... how well have things played out for you to?"

Hailsong ignored the last comment and focused on the first one. "Yeah," she mewed, "I guess we all do and you're right." she stopped groomed herself. "I don't need to fake what has not been done. I need to make it a reality." Hailing sat up taller now. "Would you like to go hunting?" she offered.

She shook her head with a soft rhythm of amusement. She listened with high held ears and bright optics as the young female continued she smiled at the well spoken words not only true but wise as well could not have been better said if she did say so her self. She tilted her head to the side in a questioning manor, "I would be Delighted" though she had gone previously just that morning she could not turn it down after all the female needed a hunting partner and RiverShade also had a thing for getting to keep in touch with old friends. she stood and with a graceful spin of her paws she readied for there departure.

Hailsong stood as well, but less gracefully, she nearly even tripped on her own paws! She dashed after Riverside until they caught up. That was when Hailing slowed down, she padded along the larger warrior and looked at her paws. "So..." she mewed. "Where are we going to hunt?"

She cast a glace at the female just in time to see her almost topple over with a small marrow of amusement she shook her head, as she was soon after joined by the female she turned as she listen to the soft almost unsure tone of HailSong she glanced at her with wide optics and added with an almost astonished voice "I may be older, but you are the Head of this patrol you may take the lead from here" she stepped back as if to fallow to spaces behind with a small tilt of her head she waited for the female to make up her mind and take them to a hunting area.

(Sorry it's so short, I had 2 seconds to write it) Hailsong stopped. Her ears twitched as she thought of a good hunting place. "The left side of the mountain." She mewed, "I heard that there were lots of thrushes around there."

She gave an agreement shake if her head and commented "yes it does seem like quite a good season for the little critters" she followed along and smiled lightly she asked "So I do remember your handful of an apprentice how is he?"

Hailsong padded quicker, trying to change the subject without seeming like she is. "He was... a good apprentice." she answered. "But, I've seen you training with a few apprentices. All your apprentices?" she finally change the subject. A huge weight of stress was lifted off her shoulders.

she smiled "Thats great dear" she new that the female must be proud to have her apprentice make it to the ranks of a warrior. Her smiled broadend as she happened to bring up her load of apprentices she grinned and nodded "Yes, there all a handful.. But I do love each of them" she gave a small almost faint smile she would miss them once they to join like the rest of her few that already had she never seemed to hear from them once the moved on not that she could see why haha, she was an old flea bag after all

Hailsong ran faster and faster towards the left side of the mountain. "Ahhh!" she screamed, Hailsong scrambled to her paws. She nearly fell off the cliff! "Nope, nope, nope! Grab whatever prey you can and let's leave!" She dashed of into the forest and caught a large mouse. This should feed the elders she thought. Taking one last frightful glance at the cliff, she dashed off back to camp.
