@drought
Blackpaw stalked on it had been two days know he had no idea how far deathclan was.he was happy to have shaken of storm paw.
Suddenly the dirt grew soft and began to grab at his messy ragged leg furs.
Drat. He was stuck.
" uh just my luck when will I ever find deathclan?!" He hissed but looked up to find a cat he heard in stories about. It was drought.

DROUGHT OF DEATHCLAN Drought had to admit, he harbored a weakness for dramatic entrances. The leader usually had such an air of menace that it wasn't difficult to frighten strangers by dropping out of a tree or appearing from the shadows. It was a shame that he didn't have much of a reason to do that in his own territory.
The black-and-white tom had actually been padding through the swamp with a lizard in his jaws when movement caught his eye, and a whiff of Clan scent reached his nose moments later. He narrowed his eyes. Who in Darkpool's name would be stupid enough to invade their territory?
Drought padded over, instinct keeping his paws on the drier patches of ground. He fixed his amber gaze on the lost apprentice and let out a low growl. "Clan scum. I think you'd better start explaining fast, or else you're going to be just another set of bones drifting in the mud." Blackpaw instantly dipped his head in full respect. He wasn't one of them anymore he had to get it out.
His scared Head still down he clearly stated " I am not a fox dung reeking clan cat. I want to be better than that I came in search of deathclan." He then lifted his head yellow eyes burning with respect.
He felt asking straight up to join I mouse brained. He wasn't one of them. Those clans were weak and idiotic not to mention the cats and systems.

DROUGHT OF DEATHCLAN Well, this stranger seemed sincere enough, but that didn't mean Drought would trust him blindly. He'd keep an eye on Blackpaw for a while. Just being in DeathClan wouldn't do much harm - the peasants had no power.
"I see," he meowed flatly. "And who, exactly, might you be?" The question was a test by itself; all Clan exiles were expected to give up their old names if they wanted to become a DeathClanner. This was where he'd see whether the black cat had really put his past behind him.
If not, he could always just let Blackpaw disappear in the swamp muck. WORDS: 102 || WRITTEN FOR: Blackpaw NOTES - n/a template by Margie @ Adoxography v2

DROUGHT OF DEATHCLAN "You'll be expected to prove yourself. I hope you realize that," the leader pointed out with a twitch of one torn ear. "Many of the cats here will probably smell the Clan scent on you and challenge you. Until it fades, you'd better keep your claws sharp." Ultimately, if 'Pain' wasn't tough enough to survive here, he'd have to flee. DeathClanners were not particularly kind to exiles until they'd earned their place.
With a small sigh, Drought stretched forward, attempting to drag the black cat out of the mud by his scruff. There was probably something metaphorical in the gesture. WORDS: 100 || WRITTEN FOR: Pain NOTES - n/a template by Margie @ Adoxography v2

Pain heaved himself out and nodded no other way to express his emotions he unsheathed his unusual long claws which had sliced stormpaw's ear still holding a brown stain on one.
He padded along drought sharp eyes looking forward he was ready for a fight if needed.
(( should I start a thread in the camp like area that's open?))

DROUGHT OF DEATHCLAN Drought was pleased to see that DeathClan's newest member wasn't entirely useless. It took a certain amount of strength to get free of the swamp's quicksand-like mud, even with help… and as far as he was aware, most Clan younglings were physically weak. The opposite was true here. Any cats who didn't have muscle needed a way to compensate for it, either with agility or shrewdness or something else entirely. If you couldn't hold your own in a fight, you'd be in deep trouble.
Time would only tell whether Pain could make it in this territory. He watched the ex-FireClanner go, then turned and headed into the bushes, figuring it was time that he returned to his stroll through the woods.
