Littlepaw was searching the den with a devious smile on her face.She was longing to try out a idea she had about conversations.'If I say the right things and fake the rights emotions I can do anything I want or so I am willing to try out'She thought.'Maybe cats won't appreciate this though'She thought feeling worried but then she dismissed the worry.'I'm sure they won't mind'She thought with a self assured smile.Her amber eyes landed on a apprentice walking into the den.'Good, my next test subject'She thought,feeling excited.

[Sunpaw]

Sunpaw strode into the apprentices' den, his body a bit sore from the day's training, and was hoping to catch up on some sleep. Padding forward, his icy blue stare scanning the surrounding mounds of moss for his own nest, he realized there was another cat in the den with him, standing off by herself. Though he was tired, he was always in the mood to talk; that is, as long as the other cat was willing to as well. Before he changed course, he called out a simple, "Hi there," his tone as friendly and warm as it usually was.

[Littlepaw]

Littlepaw grinned at her friendly greeting."My name is Littlepaw not there"She said in her monotone voice."It's nice to meet you, since you haven't given me your name yet I will call you cat"She purred, she flicked a paw at him."Would you like to join me in a conversation?"She inquired in her polite voice.'This one should work nicely for my experiment'She thought as she stared at him with her amber eyes.

Sunpaw grinned a bit at the other cat's- was it a joke? It seemed so, though it was said with little feeling. "Oh, my name's Sunpaw. Sorry, I'm usually more polite. And it's nice to meet you," he said, his voice still carrying its usual warmth, and added, "Sure, that sounds, great. Any particular points of interest you'd like to talk about?" after Littlepaw had made her inquiry. The young she-cat seemed a bit... different, he supposed the word would be. He didn't mind, of course; it was in his nature to be accepting of others. He sat down a short distance from Littlepaw, his demeanor friendly, and waited for the other apprentice to respond.

[Littlepaw]

"I sure you are polite, I did not mean to imply that you were rude.I am glad you are happy to meet me"Littlepaw said with a smile.Her smile was not a pretty smile though, she never learned to smile properly so her smile was devoid of warmth and showed all her teeth which made her look vicious."A topic that interests me is your history,I would like to hear about you"She said still smiling her ugly smile."Thank you for being friendly by the way, most cats don't bother.To be honest I think they are scared of me which I think is ridiculous since I don't bite often"She purred, her voice softening into a whisper.

[Sunpaw]

"Ha, yeah, that is weird," Sunpaw said, trying his best to remain jocular despite Littlepaw's strange smile; he mostly succeded. His eyes widened a bit in surprise at her request. "My history? It really isn't all that interesting. Are you sure?" he asked, his voice laced with curiosity.

Littlepaw snorted."It is sure to be a lot more interesting then mine.I didn't actually talk to another kit until I was 4 moons old"She said, her whiskers twitching with amusement.""Like I said, tell me about yourself before I die of boredom"She said, giving Sunpaw a pleading look.'He will agree,in sure of it and then test 1 will be complete'She thought feeling proud.

Sunpaw shrugged, still a bit confused as to why a cat he had just met wanted to know about his past, but willing to share all the same. Sitting down, he curled his tail around his light brown paws and thought a moment. "Well, the first real conversation I can remember having was with a cat named Darkkit- Darkpaw, now. After that, I met Snowkit, who's also an apprentice now; if I remember correctly, he was a bit rude when we first met, but he's nice once you get to know him. I played quite a bit when I was a kit, too. Shortly after I'd met Snowpaw, I was made an apprentice; Fadingnight's my mentor's name," he paused a moment, partly to catch his breath and partly to think a bit more. "Then... well, training; hunting, fighting, and the like," he concluded, fairly certain that he'd at least summarized everything. He turned his sharp blue gaze on Littlepaw. "And you? What about your past? That is, of course, if you're willing to share," he asked, his tone just as friendly as it had been at the beginning of the conversation.

"My history?Well I was a weird kit and still am of course.I just observed kits,conversations and their games but I never participated.I loved observing but now I'm more into getting reactions so I can't learn more about them.I had a couple of friends who weren't that bothered by it and were nice but I'm probably going to ruin that on accident by a idea gone wrong.I have 3 friends I think and I am totally up for more experiments uh I mean friends"Littlepaw said quickly before taking a long breath and grinning at Sunpaw.(Short)

[Sunpaw]

"That's interesting, I suppose. Maybe a bit strange, but your decisions are yours alone, I guess," Sunpaw responded. Though he was kind to everyone, and generally accepting of any quirks a cat may have, he did tend to be a bit blunt, as was now the case. "But I'm also happy to be friends, if that is indeed what you're proposing," he added, his icy eyes warmed by happiness and his tone upbeat.

[Littlepaw]

"You are happy to be friends?How interesting considering we just met but like I said, I am always open to friends"Littlepaw said."What do friend do?"She inquired and she titled her head so she was studying Sunpaw from a angle."I honestly don't know and the more I know the more chances I have to know more"Shr purred and smiled."I may not make sense to you but I make perfect sense to someone who thinks the same way but that might never happen"She said with a giggle.

[Sunpaw]

"Right," Sunpaw said, deciding to ignore the strange way she'd ended the sentence. He thought a moment about Littlepaw's question, eventually answering with, "Well, friends play, train, hunt, and talk with each other. Those are the basics, at least," He'd added the last sentence with a hint of contemplation in his voice. He thought that was all there was to it, though he could be wrong. He brushed off his indecision quickly, and turned his gaze once again on Littlepaw, curious as to where the she-cat would take the conversation.
