For Leopardripple only Mistybreeze couldn't believe her old mentor was already an elder. It still felt just like yesterday she was teaching her how to hunt or all the battle moves she knew. She did have a promise to keep to her mentor. She had promised her moons ago that when she became an elder she would still visit her. She intended to keep that promise as much as she could. So with a rabbit in her jaws she walked into the elders den. Dropping the rabbit she called "Leopardripple, it's Mistybreeze!" |

Leopardripple was curled into the den in the back of the den. Her lime green eyes were shut tight and she put her tail over her muzzle. She sighed and whimpered shaking slightly as she looked down. She was flashed with memories of Hawkbreeze and the fire. All she heard was Help! Help! and she remembered howling for Hawkbreeze with fear. She looked down. "Hawkbreeze... why.." she whispered and lifted her head.
"Oh Mistybreeze.. please.. come in.." she said in a shaky voice. | but you sleep with the bones of a rabbit |

Mistybreeze picked up the rabbit again and padded towards her former mentor. She dropped it at her feet and said "I brought you something to eat." Mistybreeze could see the distress in her mentors face, Mistybreeze sighed, she knew it was because of Hawkbreeze. "Leopardripple, are you okay?" She asked. Mistybreeze had always worried about her mentor she had had a hard life. And she knew that Hawkbreeze being dead would be really hard on her. Mistybreeze knew that Leopardripple had once loved Hawkbreeze and she believed they had still been friends when he died. Mistybreeze herself never really got over her first love, Icethorn, it was probably too late for her to find anyone by this point any ways, and maybe she didn't even want to.

| | "Thanks kiddo.. really kind of you to think of this old insane bat." she said not even bothered by the fact that it was a bunny. She took it and slowly began to eat it as she looked up at her former apprentice and best friend. She frowned. "I'm not.. I'm not Mistybreeze when Firelight mysteriously died from that meal and Hawkbreeze from the fire and no one has seen Shadowwing in moons, I'm practically alone.." she said in a shaky tone. She lay her head down and looked at her.
"I also found one I'm a mother.. I mean I knew Hypnos was my son... but not Rapidkit.. and Snakeclaw's his father. Hes gone parents who are on the verge of death or are never around.. I feel bad for the young thing.." | but you sleep with the bones of a rabbit |

Mistybreeze looked sympathetically at Leopardripple. It was horrible that Firelight died, she had been around since beofre Mistybreeze was even born. She still remembered sinking into her den when she was what.A moon or two old?
"You know I will always be here to come visit you. Besides hunting for the clan I don't have that much else to do" she purred. "I can't imagine you are all alone, if any of the kits nowadays are anything like I was i'm sure you are getting some sneaking in here all the time!" she mewed with a smile, trying to make Leopardripple smile too.
"Being a mother is a good thing, Leopardripple" she told her. Mistybreeze had always wished she was a mother but it was never supposed to happen. "You will be an amazing mother to Rapidkit, and you aren't on the verge of death...Do you think I would let you die so soon? And maybe having an older mother isn't such a bad thing, it just means that he has a wise cat as his mother" Mistybreeze said with a smile.

"You won't be able to control me, and a mother is a great thing." she said and lay her head down. "But i'm trapped in here. Mistybreeze smiled at her and looked at her with kind gentle eyes. "I will always come visit you Leopardripple, I made a promise and I intend to keep it. And even if I hadn't promised I would still come to visit my favourite mentor" she mewed.
"And don't you think for a second, Leo, that you are going to mess up with him! Because you aren't, you are going to be a wonderful mother to him, you just have to trust yourself..So don't ever think that for a moment!" She told her sternly.
"And...You aren't really that crazy, I don't think I could deal with a crazy cat I would probably go crazy myself...Which either means i'm already crazy or your more normal than you think...I mean it's not that weird being afraid of bunnies, and a lot of the other cats don't like half-bloods" she pointed out.
