I've wasted time, I've wasted breath Orangekit purred with excitement as he woke up. A new day had began...
About ten hours ago.
The young ginger tom had overslept again and lost the majority of his day before he had to go to sleep again. There was only about eight hours left of the time he was allowed to be awake! He had lost so much time that he could have spent exploring and meeting new people.
His excitement slowly turned into disappointment as he lifted himself out of the large empty nest that he shared with his mother and sister. It was obvious that they had awoken at the correct time as they were not there, leaving him alone.
After a few seconds, Orangekit decided that he should try and put the thought of loosing time to the back of his head and went to go and make more friends before the day ended. He began to step towards a she-kit nearby him and poked her tail stump(?) with his nose, "Hi... Want to play with me?" He asked, his tone of voice still sounding slightly sad. ivykit jumped as someone nosed her stumpy tail but relaxed as she saw another kit. "hi, im ivykit and yeah, id love to play a game" she purred happily, wiggling her small tail. "what do you want to play?" she asked as she began to form a small moss ball, just in case

I've wasted time, I've wasted breath Orangekit purred, thankful that Ivykit wasn't mean, but rather seemed a little shy. Either that or he had just scared her a little by making an unexpected entrance. It was probably the latter. "Nice to meet you, Ivykit." He twitched a whisker with a bright smile forming on his fce. It was rather unusual how his mood changed so frequently, but he decided to just ignore it and get on with his life as any other cat his age would do. "My name's Orangekit. But you can call me Orange. Saying kit on the end of it makes everything sound too long and complex for my liking." He replied, his pink nose lifting before lowering again.
"Let's play mossball, considering you've already started rolling one up," He purred, "I'll go over there so there's more of a distance between us!"

Ivy kit nodded eagerly as she back up to. Quickly she grabbed the ball and gently threw it to orangekit. She hoped her wasn't going to make fun of her for throwing the ball so lightly. She squeezed her eyes shut and waited

I've wasted time, I've wasted breath Orangekit purred expecting to catch the piece of soft moss that had been thrown at him when it landed about a mouse length in front of his tiny ginger paws, "Come on, you can throw better than that!" He called to her, half encouragingly, half annoyed that he had to go get it.

Ivykit felt ashamed, she put her head down, trying to be emotionless. Suddenly a semi-soft thing hit her in the head. 'Oof!' She exclaimed and her expression suggested she was going to cry. Instead of crying, Ivykit fell over, laughing so hard there were tears in her eyes. "T-th-that's wh-what I g-get f-for not pa-ying att-en-tion"she squeezed out as she laughed

I've wasted time, I've wasted breath Orangekit giggled loudly as he watched Ivykit fall over. He leaped over to her and starting to nose her head, trying to help her back up, still laughing.

"t-thanks" she meowed as she stopped laughing and tried to catch her breath. wheezing still, she picked up the moss-ball and threw it towards orangekit. this time she threw it hard enough to land right in his jaws. she watched and hoped he didnt get hit like she did

I've wasted time, I've wasted breath Orangekit giggled as he caught the ball in his mouth. He was about to say 'you're welcome' before it landed in his mouth. "Owe, my tooth" He whispered, not really bothered, anyway, "Catch!" He threw it back.
