Kirin was somewhat excited.
Catnip was excellent. He just hoped that his neighbor and this Sparrow guy would do their parts. Then again... Catnip was a very good incentive. Yeah. This would be alright. He followed Sparrow to the greenhouse and listened to his explanation. Sounded easy enough. Two humans? He could probably handle them on his own, but Jade would be helpful he supposed.
He briefly remembered his sisterlittlefox-heartselfishlittledeservestodieargh being highly violent as a small kit. He also briefly remembered loud agitated humans. Playing nice and then attacking would be a brilliant distraction. He turned to Jade. "I'm going to play nice and bite them. You help." Without another word, he quickly entered through the front.
He purred and curled around the human's legs. Like the little suckers they were, they petted him. Then he bit them rather hard with his teeth that honestly were similar to tiny knives. Cats ate meat, after all. Cue the screaming and running around. And the kicking. Kirin was kicked to the side by the dumb humans. For all their servitude, humans were dumb.
Needless to say, it was a rather well done distraction. Loud and with all the attention on the aggressive ginger tabby.

Jade was extremely hesitant to attack Twolegs, most who were probably rather friendly if given a chance. But not wanting to back out now and walk all the way back home by herself drove her to actually follow Kirin, who didn't seem at all fazed to be doing this.
It happened fast. And she obeyed. She went to one of them, using her flurry long fur and shimmering jade eyes to lull the Twolegs into a false sense of security, and also letting them run their paws across her back. Not as gentle as her own housefolk, which made her lose a bit of reluctance to go through with this, and certainly planning something. Kirin's sudden action to bite one of the Twolegs made her eyes wide, blood dribbling onto the floor and making Jade feel nauseated. They kicked him away, making Jade cry out in horror, before grabbing her scruff and whipping the poor she-cat across the room.
The long-haired kittypet landed roughly on her paws, wincing at the pain in her joints, before skidding after her neighbor in fear as the Twolegs started yelling and raising hell inside. "W-what now? Did he get it?" she asked upon catching up to Kirin's side.

DANTE OF TWOLEGPLACE Dante watched from behind a large potted plant while Kirin and Jade moved in. They played their parts well. He hadn't expected either to actually attack the humans… but Kirin did. He could hear the pained shout, and the sandy tom set his part of the plan into motion as chaos erupted around him.
He sprang onto a ledge, using scent to quickly locate his target. Within seconds, he'd nipped off several leafy stems, grabbing them firmly in his jaws once there wasn't much left. The humans weren't even paying attention to him. Nevertheless, Dante wasn't going to push his luck, so he fled from the greenhouse and made his way back to the meeting point.
The catnip smelled delicious; it was all he could do to keep himself from salivating all over it. 'Sparrow' set the bundle down and set to dividing it up while he waited for his minions to escape. WORDS: 153 || WRITTEN FOR: Kirin & Jade NOTES - n/a template by Margie @ Adoxography v2

Kirin had absolutely no idea when exactly Sparrow had finished and retreated.
He was a bit distracted by the agitated humans. To be fair, he had attacked them first. Several moments after continuing to try and keep the humans busy, they kicked him towards the exit of the greenhouse. He gave one final hiss and fled the greenhouse. He dashed for a short while, however ended up walking when he'd reached the meeting point.
He spotted Sparrow dividing up the catnip. So. He kept his word. Good. Otherwise, Kirin might've had to find this cat and claw his pelt off. Now, let it not be said that he wouldn't just because of his kittypet nature. He thought much of sinking his teeth into his dearest sister. Or something else with blood.
He turned his head to see when Jade would came out as well.

((aww, shiiz I thought I posted here... seriously....))
Jade was scampering behind Kirin with wide eyed, her fur bushed and her fear scent strong. But at the sight of Sparrow, she breathed a sigh of relief. "He made it!" she meowed, hurrying to the catnip piles and giving one a sniff. It is good catnip.

DANTE OF TWOLEGPLACE It would appear that this heist was coming to a close with zero casualties. That was good news. Dante didn't honestly care much, but dead cats tended to drag his reputation down and generally make a mess of things. He preferred not having to deal with it.
"Of course I did," 'Sparrow' told Jade flatly as he finished splitting the take. He pushed two heaps of leaves towards the kittypets. Around fifteen percent of the total for each, which left him with a good seventy percent. Not that he'd be eating all of it. World-class catnip was a good bargaining chip in Twolegplace politics, and could even be used to bribe outsiders like rogues and loners. It'd be put to good use.
With that, the pale tom flicked his tail-tip "Right then. Job's done, you've got yours, so I think we're done here. Ciao." He'd grabbed the rest of the catnip pile and vanished through the hedge not even a moment later, leaving Kirin and Jade to go their own ways. Kirin turned his head sideways to Jade with a questioning look.
"Seriously. We were the ones doing most of the risky bits." He snorted and swiped his catnip pile. He noticed 'Sparrow' took most of it. He supposed it was fair. Ish. At least he didn't give more to Jade than to him. He was planning to keep his share all to himself and shred any potential thieves. Taking his catnip, he dashed off back to him home. Not really caring if Jade wasn't following.

Jade watched with a bit of sadness at the leaving tomcats, turning away to stare at her paws. Only after a few moments did she realize she didn't know the way back, causing the calico to hurry after Kirin.
~so I assume the thread is ending~
