Spiritpool Spiritpool walked into the warrior's den for the first time. She scented someone familiar perhaps someone she met when she was a kit. Finally she realized who it was, Softbreeze how could she have not recognized her she was one of the few people she knew as a kit. She had good memories of when they were playing in the nursery.
"Softbreeze nice to see you again" Spiritpool says. "It's been such a long time since we met". Maybe they could spend the day together she thought. |

Softbreeze was sitting in the den, her eyes glazed over as she was deep in a pit of depression ' why a kit! Why did a kit have to die, why not me?' She thought miserably. These types of thoughts were going through her head a lot lately. She sat alone, not really noticing anything, not even the scorching heat. She heard her name being called and snapped out of her thoughts. Immediately she changed her facial expression to happy and looked to see who had called her name " ah! Hi spiritpool I saw your ceremony, congratulations." Softbreeze said sincerely with a small fake smile

Spiritpool noticed that softbreeze's smile was unnatural. "What's wrong Softbreeze" she asked. she wanted to comfort her friend but she couldn't do that without knowing what she was concerned about

Softbreeze sighed and pain shoot through her as she thought of her depressing thoughts again 'why was I even thinking like that?!' She screamed mentally before looking at her friend. Now she was upset she had worried her "I'm fine, just down about the deaths, like the rest of the clan" she said to her friend adding mentally 'and I'm having really depressing thoughts of me being useless and that I should die' she shrugged her shoulda
Era " so how have you been spiritpool, anything exciting happen since practically kithood?" She asked with a small purr. It had been to long since she had seen her friend

"Nothing interesting happened unless you consider cleaning he elders den interesting" She replied. 'have you noticed that the temperature is getting hotter" she asks hoping that she wasn't the only one who thought it was getting hotter.

Softbreeze blinked " I've heard cats complaining about it but I haven't noticed it myself" she said 'yeah I'm to busy beating myself up over deaths to notice' she thought sadly but quickly snapped her eyes back into happy mode, hoping spiritpool didn't notice. "All I've been noticing really is the lack of food and water. I haven't eaten anything in days. The kits elders and queens are more important than me" she said as she felt a pang of hunger from her stomach

"well I guess you're right the queens,kits and elders are much more important tham we are" she saids with a sigh. "Want to go hunting so we can get some more prey"
