Shadowpaw didn't really know anyone here. He had only just became an apprentice and much preffered the life of a kit. He wished he was still in the nursrey and not here. He didn't really like to work, and wasn't looking foward to having a mentor. As he sat gloomily in the shadows of the branchs and leaves abouve him, of his faviorate tree, he thought about all his memories he had as a kit. He sighed sadly, if only he was a kit again.

Little paw had seen the other new apprentice he was just like her when she came in except she had a friend but only one. For little paw it would take a lot of courage for her to meet some one new. Little paw took a deep breath of air as if it was the potion to be fearless. Her white tipped paws were placed one after the other as she drew closer "uhh.. Ummm hello"

Thistlepaw was not so hesitant in his approach. He padded over cheerfully, smiling in a friendly way at the younger feline.
"Hey, smile, be happy!" he enthused, sitting down in front of the tom. "Being an apprentice means you're growing up! Who wants to be a kit? Don't you want to be able to be helpful to your Clanmates in battle?" ulla |

"Huh, a medicine cat." the bristly-furred tom murmured. His eyes - pools of topaz - flicked back to Littlepaw.
"Well, to each to their own! Pleasured to meet you, Littlepaw! I'm Thistlepaw."
His ears twitched inquisitively and he glanced back to Shadowpaw. He still hadn't said anything.
"Hello." he grinned, speaking a little quieter now. He didn't want to be... what was that word his sister had used? Ah, yes, insensitive. He stifled a snort. Sisters didn't know anything. ulla |

Little paw looked at thistlepaw then to shadow paw. Her paw suddenly covered her blind eye, as she realisesd what a fool they would think of her when they saw it. "Umm... Errrrr... Hi....thistlepaw." She smiled
