snowkit it was sitting alone by the camp wall grooming her fur. She just sat there and watched a bunch of other kits playing. She turned her back on them and looked at the sky instead 'why am I so shy? It's nice when I can actually talk to like 2 cats, but sometimes there's going to be way more than that.' She thought with a sigh. She heard some rustling in a bush nearby and whipped around " who's there!" She called out, her claws extended. Snowkit didn't even know why she was so nervous lately, it was odd

    Owlkit walked out of the bush with his one green, one blue, eyes wide. He dropped his mouse he got, "Woah.. Snowkit? What's wrong? Why are you startled?" he asked sniffing the mouse before picking it back up. He looked around suspiciously, and covered the mouse with leaves. He then looked back at the younger kit and sat down.

Snowkit sighed with relief when she saw it was just owlkit."hey owlkit, sorry I almost jumped you. I don't know why but I've been on edge a lot lately" she said as she sheathed her claws into her fluffy white paws. She sent owlkit an apologetic glance, hoping he wasn't mad at her "so what's up? Are you an apprentice soon? I'm totally going to your ceremony. Not even cloudclan could stop me from attending and cheering for you." She said with a determined look in her eyes. She wanted to be there for her friends and owlkit was one of them

    "Oops, sorry for scaring you, I expected no one to be around this bush," he said with a small chuckle. he smiled and said proudly, "Yes! I am soon, you are almost too, aren't you?" his eyes flew wide open and his smile grew, "Hey! What if we become apprentices on the same exact day?"

"yeah that would be awesome! that would actually be amazing, then we could train together!" she exclaimed happily. she would love to train with her friends "so, um, what were you doing in the bush?" she asked curiously

    "Uh.. I was hungry.. so I stole a mouse before others ate.. But kits eat first, right?" he asked, still wanting to be cautious.

snowkit looked at the other kit through narrowed eyes and a tilted head "well, yes i suppose, seeing as we can't hunt for ourselves. but if you were hungry, why didnt you just ask? you dont have to sneak food." she said, confused. she shrugged it off, her eyes wide again "have you met any warriors yet? i wonder who my mentor will be. *gasps* what if they don't like me?" she asked, looking at owlkit "do you think my mentor will like me?" her eyes grew worried

    "I was scared to get yelled at.. But it's pretty foolish," he said. Seeing the mouse, it was almost as big as his head. "Mentor? I don't even know who I'll get." The orange and white feline then scratched his ear, and felt sympathetic for his friend, "Aw, don't worry! What if we even get the same mentor? I never met any warrior yet besides Tigerfrost. I bet we'd get great mentors!"
