Painne
Major stumbled along the beat-up path that led to the infamous mountains that loomed intimidatingly over the whole forest. His soul burning eyes flashed back and forth and he mumbled to himself. He twitched his scarred and tattered ears as incoherent whispers and mutters swirled in them. Out of the corner of his eye, she saw a rock with eyes following his every move. Overhead, trees tried to bend down and grab him, but he paid them no mind. Major was familiar with all of this already. He was Mad....
With his loose grip on reality, the alpha male stalked on. Not that far from where he saw the creepy rock, he saw a silhouette seemingly dancing before him. he thought that it was nonexistent, that it was part of his imagination, like everything else. So, like the fearless yet somehow a little idiotic male-wolf he was. Major jogged after it. The branches and dirt tried calling him back, make him slow down and chat with them, but he did not oblige. The wolf continued on to meet this new creation of his. Only to burst thought a shimmering clearing and find Young Female Apprentice in witch he had not yet to meet.
(jk, he's not really losing it well yet just supper bored)

((I really like how you made the trees and rocks seem like real things, its pretty cool!))
Painne shot a paw into the air, smacking the mouse higher above her head. She landed on four paws, twisted around, and leaped back up to keep the mouse in the air. She called this Mouse Fly, a game that was somewhat a training exorcise for herself. Involving speed and balance, it took many twists and turns to keep the mouse in the air. And the punishment for having the prey land on the ground was not getting to eat it. Though, she was rather good at making sure that didn't happen. And the time limit she set for herself was almost over, which meant in just a few more throws and hits the dead creature would soon be devoured... and since it was so small, it wasn't really something to contribute to the pack. Not too mention no one would want a rather scratched up and bruised tiny animal, that was more of a snack than a meal.
Yet all that changed when something came charging out of the trees, and the black-and-brown apprentice let out a cry at being startled before whirling around, the mouse landing behind her with a light thud barely noticed. Was someone watching me?! That made her bristle. Was one of her high-ranked, respected Packmates hidden in the grass moments before, watching Painne leap and bark at a mouse like a pup? They wouldn't understand it as training. They'd find it child's play, a foolish action. Probably followed by a painful nip to the scruff. And she certainly didn't want that. With a growl, she tore across the clearing and towards the shadow, not recognizing them as anyone in her pack. That made her eyes widen. A trespasser!
"Get out of the Shadow Dwellers territory, trespasser! Or I'll tear your fur apart and leave you for our Alpha! He'll make you wish you were never born-" she snapped her jaws shut and skidded to a halt. Oh. He was familiar. "A-Alpha? I didn't realize it was you! I'm sorry, I-" she took a step back, and then dipped her head respectfully to the higher ranking wolf. "I didn't know it was you!"

(Thank You, and Love the game
At fist he was amused as she seemed to have completely charged at a wolf his size and thought it was not him what was she going to do if it was a trespasses? Die. He had a small amount of amusement witch left the moment she stammered all of his thoughts of her bold bravery left, as she seemed to crumble at his paws he did have a liking for the humbled respect but also the intense fire that just moments ago lit thought the female. He raised his massive head higher then let out a deep gravely chuckle "Never have I seen such a spirited wolf, Play with mice" he looked back twords the very spot she was playing her little game of Catch the rodent. He thought to the moment as he watched the fiery female, as she twisted and turned he new she took his training seriously he had high hopes for her she showed the potential in becoming a Elite but never would he show.He liked to make a wolf work for there rank it showed there true cheactor and Ambition. "May you also learn that never charge at a wolf expressly your alpha, unless their is no way to loose the fight and then check twice every wolf has their skills don't let that be the end of yours."
" Painne would you walk with me?" he did not say it as a command but as an actual question with a small twinkle in his optics she had gained a large amount of his respect just from the way his ash colored brother spoke of her he knew that she would tare her way thought the ranks with or with out his respect, she would make it. He then turned in the direction he wished to emplore with the young wolf.

((thank you!))
He didn't look angry. In fact, at first, he seemed amused. That kindled a bit of anger in her gut, her green eye lighting with frustration, but she wouldn't dare snap at Alpha. She rather keep the pride and respect she held for her pack leader there. No reason to not look up to him, and take his advice to heart, even if she was left with a few questions. Yet she didn't have time to respond as Alpha Major suggested a walk through the forest, making Painne tilt her head with suspicion she always held towards others. "Sure, Alpha." she replied, finding her voice a bit cheery despite her wary gaze. Alpha Major turned to the direction he wished to go, and she followed wirelessly after him.
Though once they began to walk, she wanted to ask more about what he said with the usual curiosity she had to battle. And hopefully not anger him, as Alpha Major wasn't her mentor, but a high and mighty pack alpha. "But, Alpha, what you said... about making sure not to face a battle I could lose... does that mean I run away like a coward? I don't care if I die as long as I take my killer with me. And running away isn't something to be proud of. So... shouldn't I just stay and fight?" she paused, thinking over her words, and then casting Alpha Major a glance. "You wouldn't run away... would you, Alpha? Well, I'm not saying you couldn't beat anyone, because your a pretty scary and strong wolf. But if the battle came... where you were outnumbered, or maybe the wolves were playing dirty. Would you run or die brave?"

He noted the fire once again burning with in the female she seemed to be holding her tongue, wise of her cause if she did have an out burst he was in no mood, she most likely would not walk away with it. He found it rather entertaining as she agreed to walk but she seemed so confident he was sure she had a motive for it after all she may have been young but she thought like a true killer, he could see the flame with in her. he could not help but smile as the silence of the forest was cut short as she could no longer walk in peace the female questioned his wise advise he was both surprised and proud she seemed to think he would not tear her to bits for questioning given truths.
He listend for a moment as she spoke and thought up his own replied, "Aww, young one. I Never would ask one to Run from a Fight." he paused as the small whispering of the whispering willows filled his ears once more he calmly added with a small sense of Knowledge" You must weigh the Costs of the Small Battle, will it end with you on top or will it end with you bleeding to pulp at the other end of ones claws everyone has Strengths and every one has a Weakness To win a Fight you must keep both in check or you both may fall and for what a small border skirmish? A wolf your size has no business charging at a male of mine I'm over half of you if you check my strength to your agility I promise you will not walk away from a fight like that" He turned and met her onyx and green gaze with much feeling She seemed to have the knowledge of the forest and the boldness of a Stag But one out weighed the other and it could be the end of her he had not relised he had been yelling for most of his other speak he added more gently
" I would not Run, No. Im to Head strong for that That is one of my very many Weaknesses. But I have a reason to fight I Fight for my Packs Right, I fight for you" he smiled at her small remark of him being scary and Huge and finished with a bow of his neck "I can Play just as dirty And I will not Run with out a fight, I would like to say it is a Brave Death really it is Stubbornness and Stupidity to stand at such odds but for me Death is an option I have nothing left to loose, but you and I will Fight for you "(by you he meant pack) he then stood tall once more and turned he did not care it he lived or died he had lost to much his Family and Two brothers, to only find them once again, He lover to another, and now he was not sure his pack really needed him sure life was great but was it really worth the burden that death could lift? " Painne you have much to learn" he turned and continued to walk and waited to see what she would say cause he was pretty sure that had left her Speechless.

Painne nodded at his words, now understanding more. And, technically, she was an apprentice. So it wasn't bad to ask questions that could assist her in the future. "I think I understand, Alpha." she considered. "I have to be smart and not rush into things without thinking."
She blinked her different colored eyes, her green eye showing a bit of amusement. "That's good to know. Both that you wouldn't run away and that the Pack is with me." She hadn't known her Alpha to be kind-or, in her eyes, at least similar to that word. And it certainly was a lot more welcoming than an angry, irritated wolf who lashed out at any comments from anyone. It made her feel at least moderately safe around him-of course she never felt truly safe around anybody. But it was a change in how she viewed him. Different from the sinister smile-which wasn't bad either, mind you-or perhaps a hostile snarl.
They walked on in silence. Painne was thinking about what to say, perhaps some more advice on her training methods. But there had to be a reason Alpha Major wanted to walk with her. Perhaps he had something to say himself? Well, don't want to annoy Alpha and not give him a chance to talk about what he wants to talk about. she thought.
((a tiny hint of laziness can be found in this post....))

(just a tint haha)
He shook his head he showed his softness around those he new would grow to respect him for him or those he respected him self right now he felt a mixture of both this female had potential and he wanted to make sure she lived up to it. He just nodded at her understanding of the whole thing, "Yes rushing will end you in a quick death, thinking like a wolf that still has his head on. aw that's the key" he nodded as she spoke of them not running he saw no need to point out right now they happened to be world power at least the power of the forest largest pack they were and even on top of that violence never seemed far from their actions much like second nature to most of them like his brother, he did hope his blood crazed brother did not taint her to must, after all killer had earned his name after playing as an assassin for his old pack and any wolf he ever had conflict with seemed to dissapear as well. Thought he could not be to hard on the ashy male after all he had to lost much, his parents as well as mine, and the love of his life has seemed to leave the forest that's what really turned him into the killing machine he is now.
As the silence dragged on and was left on the trail behind he new she was waiting for him to speak after all she was clearly not deep in thought she seemed ready to nudge him to speak thought she seemed not sure if he was still a threat. "Painne, I know you may not wish to speak of it. But non the less I tend to learn every ones back ground before I allow them in my closest and highest ranks" he paused she could see were this was going " Nobody in my pack joins because they were born to kill others, every one has a story I would like to become fomilar with yours"

Painne said nothing, yet there was a distant look in her green eye. Eventually, after a few moments of silence, she nodded. "Okay. Its a long story," she grinned a bit at the memory. "Bet you've heard worse... but, here goes."
She paused, looking around at the dark trees for a moment before sitting down. "Though, I think I'll have a seat here, if you don't mind, Alpha." she said, closing her eyes and sighing.
"I was born with a brother named Pawn. Our mother and father were from two different packs at war, far away from here. Pawn and me should have never been born. And our mother knew this. She didn't want to lose her place in the Pack, so she gave us to our father, a large and mean wolf called Tame, to live there. He didn't want us, either. Stupid parents. Before too long both Packs knew of us, and my mother's kin wanted us back in their pack. That's when the Packs had a war for us. Don't know why, I guess the rules really ran deep then and since our existence broke them, I suppose we were important. Tame and my mother, who's name was...." Painne looked furious for a moment. "Mystic... had a fight. My mother was just as strong and dirty, and she killed my father in bloody murder. I never liked him anyway, he tried to eat Pawn once. Though, he at least taught me how to survive."
"Pawn and me were taken by Mystic away. She was exiled from the Pack for killing the Alpha Female after wanting to be given that rank herself. That Alpha was going to kill her, and then us. But Mystic was as smart as a fox-slipped right past that wolf and kidnapped us. We didn't know what was going on. Small and weak as we were, Mystic dragged us far off. She didn't feed us or care for us-she even had us play bait for an easy meal of some predators once in awhile. And then, when she caught Pawn sneaking some of her prey away, she killed him. Brutally skinned him alive and then tore his throat out. She made me watch, had me pinned under the deer-nearly crushing me. Afterwards, she ate Pawn and then shoved a few pieces down my throat. Nasty. And when I wouldn't eat, she took out my right eye. It was once a really pretty blue from my father, same eyes as Pawn, too. And then Mystic walked on, and all I could do was follow."
"Whatever wolf we came across, Mystic would kill them. She'd eat them, too. I would always disappear around those times. And then, one day, I disappeared and didn't come back. I was about... mmhm... five moons old then. And I walked the other direction she was going, and even met a friend. His name was Stone. I... well, you could say I gained a little crush on Stone. He was around my age now, and he traveled with a lone mother wolf called Fennel, the dearest little thing. She was a very fragile wolf, nothing like Mystic, which awed me. Stone took care of her and protected his mother, and I helped him. But a few days after meeting them, my own mother appeared. Stone and me had gone hunting together for rabbits, and when we returned, we found Fennel's bleeding body on the ground and a full-bellied black wolf. Mystic lunged forward, killed Stone and moved to kill me. But she didn't. She stopped, and told me a daughter always ends up like her mother, before she left me in the blood of Fennel and Stone."
Painne laughed at that. "And that's when the best part is. I was done with having Mystic ruining my life. So, I hunted her down. It took awhile to find her, as she was strong as she was smart. But when I did, it was raining out. Pouring, even. My mother was sitting in the middle of the rain, and I leaped at her. Though, I knew me being only six moons old was no match for that old hag, so I had a plan. I led her to a meadow full of rabbit holes, and watched her trip and sprain her ankle. I tied her up somehow, and starved her for three days. It rained all that time. I then fed her an old and rotting sparrow, putting a few maggots inside, before slowly finishing her off. To put simply, she died with her eyes gorged out, each claw pulled, and some of her fur skinned. And before she breathed last, I said 'a daughter certainly does turn out like her mother', before slicing her neck. And that was the end of Mystic."
Painne shrugged, "And then for another moon I just roamed around. And then I found you. Had to fight a few wolves here and there, lost some fights and won some. I told myself the first pack I found I would join, and that happened to be the Shadow Dwellers."
