Blackthorn Jean-Jacques LeroyNighthowl needed to talk to blackthorn, it was important. She couldn't believe blackthorn had lied, why didn't he say that darkstar had killed one of her own clanmates! That dudes loyalty is going to get him killed.. She though as she entered the deputy's dreams. "Blackthorn, we need to talk." She said almost growling.

Blackthorn woke in a dream once again. He'd recently had a visit from Voleblaze and it hadn't been entirely friendly. "Darkpool you'd think I'm a medicine cat now.." He sighed and spotted Nighthowl. "Hello Nighthowl. Are you okay?" He asked with genuine concern.
"I'm sorry about what happened to you." He added. "What do you need to talk to me about?"

Nighthowl somewhat smiled, "I'm fine, but you'd think almost every cat in cloudclans nuts.." She joked, referencing voleblaze a little. "But I'm only here to say, why did you lie?" She said, her voice somewhat turning serious. This cat was crazy if he thought he could keep the secret from her now.

"I didn't entirely lie. I told a half-truth. I let the Clan know Voleblaze had been eaten. I just wasn't able to tell them what. I wanted to give them closure. But if I had told the truth, Darkstar would probably have done the same to me. She doesn't want me to tell anyone. I'm sworn by secrecy, Nighthowl. It was either tell the Clan and have backlash, or give them half the truth, deal with the guilt and live to see another day and keep the Clan stable."

Nighthowl sighed, "Why don't you tell cats you trust about it, surely they would want to avenge voleblaze." She said. If blackthorn had told her the truth before she died, she would of just tried to avenge. "Besides, your loyalty to darkstar can kill you, since she killed one of her own clanmates." Besides, darkstar... Old..

"Besides what she's done.. Darkstar is still a formidable leader. She's led this Clan for years. She has the Clan's loyalty, Nighthowl. She's set the camp on fire before. No matter what she's done, she's still the leader. I cannot go against her words." He went on.
"It's not my place. Besides do we need more death by cats trying to kill? No matter age."
