Lullaby ran past the forest, the rocks and leaves no more. Suddenly, she skidded to a stop. But it wasn't fast enough. Half of her body was immersed in murky river water, and she hissed as she stood up and shook it off. "Ew!" she muttered, then sighed and slumped down next to the water. |

Dove heard a splash in the river, and froze. What kind of fish was that loud? Curious, the tabby lingered, making her way to the waters to find a dirty, wet kitty. "I guess you don't know how to swim." she giggled.

Lullaby glared at the newcomer then started to clean her fur. "Well that's not really my fault, is it. Cats aren't fish, after all." she looked over at the newcomer for a bit. "So, who're you?" she asked more calmly. "Sorry about snapping - I'm just sort of annoyed." she smiled a little and then started washing her fur again. |

Dove was assumed by the stranger's response, remembering her days in Iceclan, especially dealing with Tigerblaze. "There's a clan of cats who are excelled in swimming," she commented. "They would learn how to swim around your age, though I would rather just continue my walking than getting wet myself too." The Royal snorted as she thought about how wet her pelt once got, slipping into the waterfall. 'But they did have really amazing fish.'
"I'm Dove, one of Deathclan's Royals, and you are?"

Lullaby tilted her head a bit, then almost gasped. Should she bow down and hail the almighty royal Dove? Or should she calmly play it off? She decided to be calm. "A royal? That's splendid! the grey cat said, grinning and then bringing a licked paw around her own ear. "I am Lullaby. I joined DeathClan a few weeks ago. It really is a strong clan, and I respect that." Lullaby meowed, then smiled and tilted her head."Can you fish?" she asked politely. |

Dove giggled, amused at Lullaby's reaction to her rank within the clan."Well, welcome to the clan," she replied, staring t her plumy tail. It was really pretty. "I can actually fish, can you?"

Lullaby looked at the river for a bit, dark green eyes scanning the shifting water. "No. I wish I could." she said after a while, flicking her tail and accidentally spraying water everywhere, just missing Dove's paws. "Oh, god, I'm so sorry!" she said, jumping up and looking at the soaked ground. "Oops." |

Dove shrugged at the splash. They were at the river after all. The Royal crawled to the bank and hopped onto a rock that was in the river. "Come." she mewed, flicking her tail, sitting comfortably on the stone. "I'm going to teach you a thing or two, and I promise I won't hurt you." It was a shame, seeing how much a title can change a cat's perception. She wanted to be seen as an equal to Lullaby, not a superior.
