"Let all cats old enough to catch their owners gather here beneath Highstone!" He yowled, waiting atop the giant rock until a fair amount of cats had collected. "For unknown reasons, Autumnpaw's old mentor is unable to continue her training. Rowansky is ready for an apprentice, and will finish Autumnpaw's training," he announced, raising his chin.

Rowansky knew she was taking more responsibility than she probably needed - she had her kits and the other queens' kits to look after - but it was a welcome distraction from all that was still going on in her head. Besides, Rowansky needed an excuse to stretch her legs and act like who she really was before becoming a queen. The tabby made her way through the crowd and towards Autumnpaw. Being a mother to the clan made it easier to remember faces. "I hope you don't mind having me to see you through the rest of your training. I still know how to keep cats on their toes," she purred, bending down to touch noses with Autumnpaw. "I'll call you at some point tomorrow when it's time for training." |
