Moons passed since Firelight's death, and so did Hawkbreeze's. Leopardriple was practically the oldest cat in the clan now, other than of Darkstar. He needed to forgive the elder; murderer or not, the medicine cat pushed one of his dearest friends out in the cold, remembering how he promised to visit both Leopardripple and Hawkbreeze often once they hit elderhood. But. . . he planned to accompany the two to that stage in life. The three were supposed to live old in the elders' den together. That did not happen.
"Leo-Leopardripple?" he called, welcomed with the smell of rot and coldness. He would have to help renovate the den soon. A cat could easily get sick of this place with this condition.

"...Crowwing?" Leopardripple lifted her head awakening from a nap. She blinked her lime green eyes and stay curled up in a ball due to she was cold and it smelled awful in here so she kept her nose covered with her tail. "I'm back here, is everything okay? I never see you in here now that your a medicine cat." she mewled flicking her ears as she lowered her head.

Of course she would have stayed in the back. He wrinkled his nose, wondering if Leopardripple could even smell anymore. She had to, considering how she was still mentoring. "Nothing's wrong, I just. . . haven't been here since Firelight's passing." His voice was neutral - no hate or aggression yet discovered.
"How have you been? I was waiting for you to pay me a visit eventually, but I guess I had to first." He shrugged, coming down to lay down beside the elder, pressing himself against her in attempts to warm her up.

"Still can't believe the poor elder choked on a squirrel.." that's literally what Leopardripple believed now. Her memory was starting to slip along with her eye sight. That was the con of being old though. She scooted to make room in her nest that was made for her and Hawkbreeze when they were mates. She flicked her ear as he attempted to bring warmth to her.
"Thank you.. im not use to being the only one in a den. It really sucks. But no offense to you or anything Crowwing, your a medicine cat now. I ran from those when I was a kit and apprentice, I sure as heck will now."

'No! You killed her, you selfish hawkbrained fool!' he wanted to scream, attacking for her throat.
Instead, the medicine cat mumbled something, still remaining close to her, grateful that the elder was making room for the two.
"Yes, a tragedy indeed," he whispered. His ear flicked at her next comment about her relationships with medicine cats. "Oh, but you said you didn't like those who were destined the role of medicine cats. You never mentioned anything about warriors who became medicine cats."
