Annie smiled as she sat on the fence, looking at the rising sun. I should go explore, get to know the place. She had moved to this neighborhood just last week and she wanted to know the place more. She leapt down from the fence and walked along the sidewalk, the bell on her collar ringing. Her snowy white ears perked up as she heard a noise. "Who's there?" She said bravely. She was not gonna let some cat push her around.

Kirin's owners didn't like letting him out all that much.
It wasn't going to stop him going out though. Pouncing over the fence separating his backyard from the sidewalk, he landed gracefully and took off in a single direction. His own collar lacked a bell, simply a gold tag reading his name. Walking along, the ginger tabby spotted another kittypet.
She had a bell. Ugh, he'd never had to deal with a bell. It seemed horrible though. He'd stepped on a twig that had been on the sidewalk. It made a loud cracking noise. The other kittypet was instantly alert and shouted out to the space in front of her.
"I'm behind you. And I'm just another kittypet." He responded from behind her. Of course, it was a lie. He had more than a few fantasies that certainly did not belong in the imagination of a simple kittypet such as he.

Annie sighed in relief a little as she saw it was one of the fellow cats who live around here. "You must be the new neighbors then." She said, dipping her head. Her calico fur still was pricked up, Annie still being cautious. She cocked her head and asked the stranger. "Is there any cool stuff 'round here? I heard there was some interesting stuff in this town." There she went rambling on, she shut her muzzle before she said anything really stupid.

Kirin didn't feel like correcting the she-cat who failed to give her own name.
He'd already been here a while. He saw the she-cat sigh in relief. His left ear twitched. He wasn't very happy at being deemed 'safe.' He could easily imagine that this she-cat was his "dear" sister and tear her fur off. He hadn't been declawed by his owners, nor had they clipped his claws. He didn't waste his time scratching the humans who took care of him or the weird furniture in his home.
He shrugged. "Cool? Depends on what you mean. There's plenty of interesting cats." Some that may attack you. "Interesting sites." That also has things that may attack you. "Interesting creatures." Like those nasty raccoons going about certain parts of Twolegplace.

Annie rolled her eyes, better answer. "Eh, cats? What's so interesting 'bout other cats?" She asked, she didn't know what else to do so she sat down on the hard, cold sidewalk and waited for this cats answer. All she heard about this place was that there was some forest next to mountains and fields. along with some group of wierdos called deathclan, whatever that was.

Kirin shrugged.
"Lots of things." He gave her a smirk. "For instance... Some are funny. Some are cruel. Honestly, cats are some of the most interesting things..." Then he seemed to drift off into his usual daily bloody fantasies.
